Because he wants us to know that he thinks Time Warner Cable's making a new channel called Hub!, and that he thinks it's on different TV Networks too! :

I think a channel like this actually wouldn't be much of a stretch. Even with retro commercials. The thing is, they still sell many of these brands. The figures might be a slightly different, but they could use new commercials wrapped with older commercials opening and closing the commercial breaks. Or it could be done as a premium. No reason this couldn't happen. They could even do HSN like segments overnight with memorabilia. The rights to each show would likely be pretty easy to pick-up as well. If I were a Mark Cuban type, I'd jump all over this.

Well, in Canada we have Teletoon Retro. It has transformers, thundercats, superfriends, spider-man (60s), GI Joe, inspector gadget, the chipmunks, batman the animated series, every version of scooby doo, the flintstones, the jetsons, beetlejuice, fantastic four, the smurfs, reboot, yogi bear, thats all i can think of right now.

But you guys in the US have Boomerang don't you? What's on that now? I'd kill to have that channel again (I had it around 2000/2001).

That is a great channel that sadly I don't get to watch much, I only get to watch it when I'm at my dad's house. So far from what I see it has just about every Hanna Barbera cartoon, older episodes of Pokemon, the Mr. Men Show, Johnny Bravo, Powerpuff Girls and Dexter's Lab.

Basically the stuff Cartoon Network use to air, except "Toonheads" and man I miss that show. That was a GREAT show for a cartoon geek like myself.

but, i think, if we could get organized enough, we stand a good chance of getting Hulu to post some retro stuff. more than they already do i mean.

like i said, we just have to come together and organize and coordinate. but, dont look at me to get that done. whenever i try to do something like that, it never goes well.

    shows id like to see:

    Muppet Babies
    Long Ago & Far Away
old episodes (late 70s to early 90s) of Sesame Street
    80s eps of Captain Kangaroo

    no one likes this idea?

Yup, I did hear about HUB channel that replaced Discovery Kids. Haven't been able to watch it yet, don't have digital cable, but my parents do. They also are airing Fraggle Rock and the Wonder Years.

And JJ, Boomerang as aired ToonHeads in the past, it's been a long time though.
