Has anyone seen this movie? I think it was made in 2009 or so. I just saw it and have to say I loved it. I think it was set in the '80s. It kinda reminded me of that movie Dazed & Confused, idk why. I think it had a good story line, though, and was reminiscent of the '80s for me.

I hated it. Very dull and boring. Kristen Stewart should never act again. She always looks bored.

I liked it. She did look like she did on Twilight..She does look sleepy or bored.. She actually acted better in that Joan Jett movie.

I fucking love that movie, my favorite part is when bill hader beats that dude up for not putting his trash in the clown mouth.

Great movie of the times. It captured the early 80s so well. I love the friend that's always running up to the guys and smacking them in the package. A friend of mine used to do that to us ALL the time. Even if it didn't hurt we'd still fall over in shock, just in case it did hurt.

I haven't seen it but you're right about Kristen Stewart. She's an unidimensional "actress". Same expression everywhere.

Ditto! And Kristen Stewart is nice to look at too...lol "Team Bella"!

Probably the only thing I don't like about her is that she always looks so bored. That and she's a part of the whole "Twilight" phenomenon that I will most likely not partake in. I don't see the appeal in sparkly vampires that only drink animal blood. I'll take the "Blade" vampires or Bela Lugosi any day.

Holy shit...I was falling asleep just looking at her. She's so boring looking.

Adventureland was excellent stuff, really gives audiences that retro feel.

    Say Jango, would

LOL...I never said she was my favorite. That honor would go to Natalie Portman, Mila Kunis, Liv Tyler, Jessica Biel, and Jennifer Garner in an incredibly close five-way tie. The only way to decide the winner would be a make out contest...LOL

Besides the hottest Twi-gals are Rachelle Lefevere's Victoria, Alice Cullen and Rosalie (a.k.a. THE ONE who should have sparkled, not Edward).

If you thought the vampires in the Twilight series were unususal and different than normal vampires, you outta see these movies: "The Hunger (1983)", "Lifeforce", "Captain Kronos Vampire Hunter", "The Keep (1983)" etc. those portrayed "differnet than the normal" vampires on the big screen before Twilight.

The Keep wasn't a vampire film. It was an extra-dimensional life form film. Basically it was demon being held in the keep. Not a vampire.

Well the old nazi in both the book and movie adaptation was a vampire and the Golem didn't drink blood but souls/youth/energy instead as it was part vampire. Not all vampires drink blood as there are some vampire species like Asian/Japanese vampires that suck out souls/youth/energy/lifeforces out of victims until they turn dry called Psychic-Vampires.
