My house has a Smurf shelf and Muppet shelf in the front room, some random happy meal toys like Tarzan and Jane and He Man on some kitchen cabinets, an Avatar figure hanging from my ceiling fan and some California Raisin and Gremlin figures on a kitchen shelf. Anyone else use retro toys as house decor, lol?

I still have our very first VCR from 1984...doesn't work, though. I have a lot of old Happy Meal toys. Old comic books. I also have a lot of posters on my wall that have been in the exact same spots since I put them there 21 years ago when I was 9. The bed I sleep in now is the same bed that I've had my entire life. I still have my very first stuffed toy that my mom ever game me, a Freddy Teddy. Which is worth more than 50 bucks last time I checked ebay. And being a toy from 1975, the squeaker inside still works perfectly. I have our original Nintendo...which still works ! What else ?....Oh. I even still have my orignal, still working, Speak & Spell. Played it just the other day. My bedroom looks like a 1980s dumping ground. I've got 80s posters, 80s movies on both VHS and dvd, a late 70s bed, stacks of 80s video games, and random bits and pieces of 80s action figures and playsets !

I still have my old 1989 Mario/Zelda blanket from when I was little; it's pretty faded though from being washed many times. NES, SNES, Mario 3 clock I got at the Florida State Fair in 1990/91... hasn't budged from it's spot on the wall since then, Teddy Ruxpin books/tapes from 1985 (the actual Teddy & Grubby are still at my grandma's house, dressed in the holiday outfits), Life board game from the 80's, Parcheesi board game from early 90's, like 1000 1980's baseball cards I collected and kept from when I was young, Simpsons watch & Simpsons bedsheet from 1990, 1989 plush Mario, a Coca-Cola bank from 1989, a James Bond book from the 60's, and some 70's/80's electric toy trains & props... hmm, I want to set them up somewhere but, no room atm. I wish I would have kept a lot more stuff from when I was a kid but, well... no one ever tells you these things, lol.

I have a giant stuffed Luigi that was made back in the 80's sitting in my room, a friend of mine originally got that for me and he only cost $1 since he is not in good shape. I also have a VHS tape of the Super Mario Bros. Super Show that another friend of mine gave to me, my friend originally got that tape at a Goodwill store and it's not in very good condition so I have it copied to a blank DVD. I have alot of the older Nintendo games and a little bit of the older Atari and Sega games. I also have some DVD's of some retro cartoons like Heathcliff, Super Mario Bros. 3, and The Adventures Of Sonic The Hedgehog.

And it hasn't budged away from its spot ever since you placed it in your room.

I still have some of my old 80s/late90s toys: mainly about 15-20 Transformers, a few Ninja Turtles figures, most of my poseable Care Bears, I think I still have 2 C.O.P.S. figures (I had only 2 or 3 of those). Some of these are with me here in Prague; a number of them are still in Canada and I will pick them up after I go back in 4 weeks.

My stuffed Luigi is still sitting in the same spot he has always been and he will probably stay there until I move out of the house.

I'm not moving out of the house anytime soon, I only said that since that will probably be the only time that my stuffed Luigi will be moved out of his spot.

I still have a large amount of my toys from the 80's and early 90s, but they are stored in the garage and shed, not on display. I have heaps of other retro stuff packed away. I just wish I had the space to display it all.

I have an Airhogs SkyShark and a Tiger Electronics BrainWarp in my room, not the ones I had in the 90's though, I tracked these down on ebay. I also have a SEGA Genesis, a PS One, and almost every Gameboy (Color through DS Lite). Still have a lot of my old toys, but they were placed in our gazebo by my grandfather, the gazebo fell apart and my stuff was rained on for 12 years. My toys are still outside, ruined and full of spider webs, thanks to him.

I'm a pretty avid collector, but I guess for the most part I have mainly newer toys of retro characters. I have a pretty big Muppets and Nightmare Before Christmas collection, as well other Disney favorites. Warner Bros stuff and other classic cartoons as well.

    Not to mention Pez despencers.

I have a PC Popple, a Fievel from An American Tail, comics and books and hotwheels from the 1989 Batman movie. I also have a bunch of 80s posters like the Batman movie, Swamp Thing, and a New Kids poster. Now, I don't listen to them anymore, but I was 8 years old at the time. Everyone listened to them back then.

A few things, aside from much of my mom's old stuff, I have:

Four Generation 1 figures I got second hand (Razorclaw, Rampage, Kup and Trypticon)

    Numerous comics from the 70's

And a Ninja Turtles bed sheet. I ain't shiting you guys. I still have it after all these years. And it's in pretty decent shape too.
