I was just reminiscing with my friend about when we were little and whenever we got a scrape or a cut our moms would, of course, give us a band aid and some antibiotic. But one thing I remember the most was Peroxide. It came in a big brown bottle and whenever my mother brought that out, I would cry and cry. I remember my mom saying "Don't worry, it won't hurt at all." When really, it stung like a bastard. Just seeing if you guys remember that, cause I had gotten hurt a lot as a kid and that bottle came out on multiple occasions.

Ah, good old Peroxide. Every child's first worst enemy, that ALWAYS won..*shakes fist*. I still buy Peroxide and keep it around the house, because somehow I still get hurt alot as an adult. I love how the brown bottle hasn't changed at all either.

Good ole H2O2... Hydrogen Peroxide. I don't recall it stinging or burning though, but maybe it did. Been awhile since I last used some.

Ick. I remember that stuff after I got attacked by a dog when I was six. She put it right on the wound (it was small).

She told me it made bubbles, but I was too busy yelping at how much it stung to care. I still don't know if it does makes bubbles. I don't want to find out.
These aren't my rules. Come to think of it, I don't have any rules.

Man...I can't count how many times I got hurt when I was younger, for some reason I always got hurt at school. I hated being dragged into the school nurse's office and having her put Hydrogen Peroxide on my wounds.

I more remember Bactine from when I was a kid. The bottle with the big red dot on it. I was the kid who got injured a lot. Usually from doing stupid stunts like trying to jump my bike over something.

I remember loving Peroxide..it only stung me if it was a really bad cut and I loved the fizzy bubbles, it was so weird. Now rubbing alcohol on the other hand..i'd cry if my dad brought that bottle anywhere near me LOL THAT one hurt like hell.

if you lay on your side and pour it in your ear and keep it there for like five minutes then get it out it gets all the wax out of your ears.
it's not your enemy, it's your friend.

Yep I did that a lot of time cause I had problems with my ears as a kid. It start to sizzle/bubbles as if something is boiling with a warm sensation... quite good actually.

Peroxide has served me well in the past. First time when I overturned on my bike and split my knee open, and second time when I nearly bit through my lower lip. No real pain from the peroxide though. Only time a treatment was worse than the wound was after my first time I cut myself shaving. I barely touched the styptic pencil to my chin and let out a string of profanity still going to this day, almost 20 years later. Basically had the same effect as holding a lit match to your face, with the flame not dieing for a couple hours.
