    Myspace

    Emo and Ringtone Rap

    President Bush

Family Guy(despite starting in 99, it was predominately an 00's cartoon like the Simpsons being a 90's cartoon despite starting in 89)

IPODS(face it, they are going to be obsolete soon)

Last decade of non-3D movies(excluding some kid movies)

    Halo and the series

    Columbia Explosion(mirror the Challenger Explosion)

9/11 of course but I am on a fence since not a lot of people would consider the Fall of the USSR as part of the 90's nostalgia

    First Black President

You think Borat will be remembered for decades?

But yeah I agree with most of those. I think this picture of Barack Obama will probably live on moreso than any other. He was the first president to really be considered a rock star / celebrity:

And people need to stop shoving this whole "first black president" stuff down our throats. It's crazy to me how many people in the states don't even know their own history.

I urge you to look up John Hanson. I think you'll be very surprised.

who knows.. everyone seems to have fond memories of their own childhood be it the 70s, 80s, 90s, etc. Whatever takes you back to good times or gives you a laugh is totally worth it. Whatever the hell it may be

Fear Factor, Deal or No Deal, Final Fantasy universe expansion resulting in many spin-off games & MMO & movie, World of Warcraft, Hannah Montana, new gen of The Price is Right, Star Wars finally getting episodes 1-3 & a CG series, Survivor, 9/11 leading to increased security, Harry Potter films, last decade MTV still remotely cared about music, HDTV, digital cameras, DVDs incredibly popular, PS2... I think that's good for now.

Depends on whether you want to go by the Articles of Confederation or the Constitution. Either way you could say people are correct. So don't pretend to be all high and mighty on something that is not set in stone.

There's lots of things we could list, it's hard to tell, but I guess a few things to list (that hasn't been already, unless I missed it)

    24 (the TV show)
Miley Cyrus (both herself and her Hanna Montana fame)
    Jonas Brothers
    Avatar
    American Idol
    Disney/Pixar's Finding Nemo
    High School Musical
The rise of "Reality" tv shows
    Flavor/Rock of Love
Seth McFarlane for his shows Family Guy, American Dad and the Cleveland Show
    Twilight
    Octomom
    Kanye West
    The Dark Knight
    Micheal Jackson's death
Geico Commericals (the Geeko, the Cavemen, that money with the eyes and others)
    Dreamworks Sherk
    John Cena
    Croc shoes
    Ug boots
    My Name is Earl

I'm sure I'll think of more later, but that's good for now.
