Has anyone made their own Ecto Cooler? I just attempted it via the Ghostbusters Chicago Division's recipe and it tasted like caca. Waaaay too much sugar and it was sickeningly thick.
Brachs "gems" (I think that was the name, it was something along those lines at any rate). I think they were called something else in the 80s, but in the 90s they were gems or something similar. They were hard, clear, fruit flavored candy, oval shaped, about the same width as a livesavers, but about twice as long. I loved these things & it really ticked me off when they quit making them.
Brachs milk chocolate stars. You can still find odd flavors like dark chocolate & semi-sweet, but I haven't been able to find the original milk chocolate ones for many years. The milk chocolate stars were fantastic. I liked brachs' milk chocolate better than either hersheys or nestles.
Aunt wick's root beer drink mix. I grew up on this stuff. I have fond memories of drinking it on picnics & making homemade popsicles with it, since I was about 3yrs old. In the mid~late 90s or so, they quit making it.
Nestle smarties. These weren't the "smarties" we're most familiar with, these were short lived (in the US anyway) M&Ms-like candies. IIRC, they had peanut butter in the middle, surrounded by chocloate, then a candy shell. One thing I would love if they were to bring it back (and I am sorry if this has already been discussed, but I didn't read through every single post) is P.B. Crisps. They were made by Planters and came in a resealable bag. They were light, crispy, peanut butter flavored cookies (?) with a peanut butter center. Man were they good!! They were my go-to snack for my travel soccer tournaments!
The Chicken Santa Fe Gordita from Taco Bell. That thing was awesome, the sauce especially.

That chocolate pudding that came in a tin can with a pull top. I don't know why it tasted better than the ones in the plastic cups now. It was either the led poisoning from the can or the taste of your own blood mixed in when you licked the inside of the cup.
The gum that came in little juice cartons. They had Orange, Grape and Apple juice flavors (apple was my favorite)

Actually a month ago I was looking through the dollar bins at Target (do those exist throughout the country?) and they had something extremely similar and I bought like 6 boxes. They haven't had them since, in chocolate anyway.
I've found something very similar to these (basically the same thing) at a local korean supermarket. So anyone missing them might want to try their local asian market(s) and see if they carry the knock off of this or whatever it is. I can't remember what it's called but I think it's in a similar shaped box. Maybe if I get another box I can post a picture.

As for me, I just remembered that one thing I miss very, very much is blue bubble gum ice cream from the Lucky/Thrifty/whatever drug store. It wasn't about the bubble gum, it was that one day I remembered how the blue ice cream tasted. Very unique. Now I keep looking for it and it seems it's no longer being made as far as I can tell and ice cream at drug stores is, sadly, a thing of the past. My dad tried to help me find some kind of bubble gum ice cream and came back with some commercialized pink ic cream from hubba-bubba or something. *sigh* Nice effort, but not at all what I wanted.
