Funny, if it were an ugly, scaly animal PETA would probably show up in cars made from its bones in order to save a cute beaver or something.

PETA (A.K.A. People Eating Tasty Animals) are an annoying group of animal extremists. But seriously, is PETA really this damn sensitive? That a furry animal might be scared while being lifted up, so they replace it with a robot? And i thought that christian movie group was bad.

I saw this earlier. I went on one of my anti-PETA rants too. They kill more animals, than animal shelters do. And they're nothing more than domestic terrorists.

Seriously, PETA just needs to give up because nobody is listening to them. I'm for the idea of stopping animal cruelty (and I'm a meat eater) but the way they take it goes too far. How is a robot gonna make Groundhog Day better? Perhaps the robot Punxsutawney Phil will return to his home for another year and say "I'll be back." That would be cool.

Why don't we replace the whole PETA organization with robots?

Why dont we just kill all the animals and replace them with robots? That way when a robot dies, we can just rebuild it and the PETAndroids will no longer worry about anything.

Remember when PETA was bitching because of that hissing cockroach eating contest. Of course the park caved into them.

makes me wonder how the public will react for shutting down a 2 year event to a timeless tradition

Simply put, guys, PETA is nothing but trouble. I mean, look how they were shown on South Park!

A circle's round, it has no end... that's how long I want to be your friend.
I've got a hand, and you've got another... put 'em both together and we've got each other.

I still want to eat a bucket full of KFC in front of them. Then throw the bones at their feet.

PETA is so sick that they protest the killing of Vermon and other such household pests. Such as the case with Obama swatting a fly and the incident where a man killed a rat in his yard that was near his kids playing! They said he should have humanely trapped it and let it out in the wild! LOL I would love to see what a PETA parent would do if a disease infested rat was biting on their newborn baby in his crib? I guess they would talk to the rat and give it some cheese to eat instead and coddle it. Bunch of idiots!!

Wonder what PETA people do when their houses get infested silverfish or bed bugs. Maybe they make comfortable little habitats for them to thrive in.

You people are being disgusting! This poor animal must be scared to death from all the attention he gets each year! The fact that you people are laughing at the kind and gentle organization that is PETA makes me sick!

...Just kidding. Seriously, PETA is a big joke and no one takes thier crazy antics seriously. You know what I think? I think Punxatawney Phil LOVES getting all that attention.

Somehow i get the feeling that Phil probably leads a stress-free life. Have you seen how fat that little guy is? Almost makes me wonder what he'd taste liked as satay, with spicy peanut sauce.
