Hey, you guys know that one retro movie... I think it was called The Dark Knight or something like that. I'm not sure. It's been a LOOONG time since I last saw it. Does anyone remember this movie? It was part of the Batman series from the 2000s.

Dude. Ten years ago was 2000, therefore only the year 2000 is "retro." 2001-2009 is fairly recent.

I'd LOVE to see a section on Samurai Jack, just not yet...

2001 is just as retro. As is all of the 2000s.

Speaking of new sections, where is the 60s, 50s, 40s, 30s, 20s, 10s, and all before?

    I'd say around 2020.

Yeah, I want a section on the 1860s so I can watch trailers for Roundhay Garden Scene!

...That should bring back memories alright!

More like 2015. After all, 2005 was around the time that Retrojunk added a 90s section on their site.

I think for now, 2000 itself is just retro.

They'll probably add one by the mid 2010s.

I wouldn't say 2000 is retro yet, I'd maybe say 1999 is but it just seems so modern still.

Compared to today, the 00s had less-advanced technology than the 10s and also less political correctness. But that is about it, in my opinion.

I can definitely see that the early 00s have dated music, movies, historical events, television shows and video games but I wouldn't call that retro.

Maybe see in a month's time.

I will just bring up that the "Year 3,000" started being used in fiction around 2,000. Like Titan AE. A movie about 3,000, in 2,000.
