Hi I'm looking for one I used to watch when i was younger but I don't know if it came out in the 80s but the animation style I remember suggests it was the 80s and possibly American, what I remember is it was set in space and had around 4 main characters, a woman with blonde hair and she wore a partly pink space suit, a guy with brown hair who wore a partly red space suit if I remember right I think he used a staff which could shoot out of its ends he would be considered the brash one of the group, a smaller, chubbier guy who wore green and when we first meet him he is eating and seems to burrow in the ground in his ship and there was also a guy who wore blue and he would be the suave one. As I said the whole thing was set in space and I remember and I'm sure the plot was about getting the girl some where. (sorry for the vague description)

Regarding "Goldie Gold & Action Javk", I read somewhere that Goldie Gold may have been loosely inspired by Richie Rich, only she was an adult female. That series lasted only one season, whereas Richie Rich ran for four seasons.

ABC was known for having a barrage of Saturday morning cartoons last one, maybe two seasons max. It seems as if NBC was the ratings winner for Saturday morning cartoons during much of the 1980s. And I do admit, most of my top five favorite cartoons that decade aired on NBC, though my #1 favorite - The Little Rascals - aired on the lowest-rated network, ABC.

Hi everyone,

I don't remember the name of a cartoon. It was about a group, which were trying to return to the world. They accidently discover a gate in a luna park which opens to a strange world. Then they all try to return to real world in every episode.

"luna park"... amusement park?

Possibly,..

Dungeons and Dragons

A group of kids board an innocent looking amusement park ride, only to be pulled into the magical world of D&. Once there, a powerful wizard/magician known as the Dungeon Master gives them mystical weapons. Each of the weapons allows them to assume their D& character role
One girl (Diana) takes the role of acrobat. She had super agility and a staff that could magically extend to any length, allowing her to pole vault and defend herself. The ranger (Hank) was granted a magic bow with an unlimited amount of energy arrows. The magician (Presto) was given a wizards hat. The paladin/Caviler (Eric) had a shield, the youngest was Bobby the barbarian who wielded a club that increased his strength hundreds of times, and his older sister (Sheila) had a cloak of invisibility making her the thief.

Hi all : ]

I´m looking for a cartoon from the 80´s, it has similarities with The Littles in that it has to do with little people. The story takes place in the woods. The only thing I remember is from the trailer when some kids approach an older dude on his front porch. He then opens a door into a tree and they all shrink to be able to enter that small door.

It´s NOT:
- The Littles
- The Littl' Bits
- David the Gnome
- The Smurfs

I finally found it, after all these years Wasn´t really how I remembered it, but I was only about 5-6 years old : ]

I present to you, Sylvanian Families

The 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo is from 1985

The cartoon variation of Punky Brewster was known as "It's Punky Brewster" and it ran 2 seasons in 85 and 86

The Care Bears cartoon series ran from 85 until 88

The Plasticman cartoon series known as "The Plastic Man Comedy/Adventure Show" ran from 79 to 81

I don't think anyone mentioned the 1982-1984 Little Rascals animated series yet. Same for Richie Rich. I really liked the animated Rascals greatly, even though it got low ratings (though it did run for two seasons on ABC). It's a shame it never aired in the U.S. since ABC cancelled the series in 1984, though I did learn tbat the real life actor who played Porky in the Black and white series filed a lawsuit against Hanna-Barbera Studios for using his likeliness without his consent, and I am not sure if the series not seen in the U.S. since 1984 has anything to do with the lawsuit or settlement conditions. Either way, I really hope the Little Rascals animated series gets a DVD release, though it's wishful thinking for now.

Universal Studios later got the theatrical rights to The Little Rascals way back in 1994

The 2003 Fox Box cartoon was based on the ‘80s and ‘90s Mirage Comics comic book and not the 1987 to 1996 Fred Wolf cartoon.

I'm trying to remember this very short-lived (I'm pretty sure it was aired as a miniseries) cartoon from the eighties (I think the late eighties, maybe early nineties). It was this fantasy adventure story in which the heroine was from an advanced civilization in the sky and the hero was from a primitive society on the surface. I don't remember much more about it than that, but does that ring any bells for anyone?
