I just heard Nancy Grace squawking about it. Goddamn, I hate her. This one woman was making sense, and Grace kept interrupting her with inane questions.

Well what'd you expect from her? That's her schtick. Have on people that make good points about certain topics and just interrupts them with stupidity.

Seriously I can't find one person that actually LIKES or even respects that bitch.

See, that's the kind of twisted shit I can respect though.
Maybe guys like Woody Allen and chicks like Mary Kay Letourneau are a bit fucked up but at least they've stayed with their significant others longer than I've ever been willing to make a relationship last.

I'm surprised authorities in Switzerland decided to meddle in our biz. Usually Switzerland just tries to butt out. I'm not saying what they did was bad, I'm just surprised.

Personally, I think its useless and a waste of tax payer money. The prisons in California are already over crowded as it is. Do they really need to throw a 76 year old man in there? The crime was over 30 years ago. And the victim doesn't even care about it, in fact she's forgiven him. Hell, she was taking pictures with him for the premier of Polanski's bio-pic.

Did he say "sorry" before fleeing? Who cares about his age a crime is a crime otherwise Philip Spector would also have been a nursing home.

But Spector didn't commit the crime 30 years ago. Nor did the girls family come out and forgive him. There's a vast difference between murder and unlawful sex with a minor.

SEX WITH A MINOR?!?! You don't think this crime is serious? If he was truly sorry he would have turned himself in a long time ago.

That's how child molesters get away with their crimes- the victims want to move on in their lives and don't want to get cross-examined in a trial. So the criminal goes on their merry way and ruins someone else's life. Polanski was known to prey on very young women so he has shown an esablished pattern of a paedophile. As someone else said, do the crime and do the time. Chuck him in jail!

As for Switzerland, they're petrified of being included on the UN's Black List of nations who actively launder money for terrorism groups so they're likely keen to be law-abiding for now.

It happened 32 years ago and apparently the victim has moved on. I say U.S. prosecutors should leave it alone and move on.

This also raises another question. How many people posting here were alive in 1977 and remember this news breaking? I can only count a handful, on one hand. Odds are, many of the users posting, are only posting on the child molestation is bad platform. How many have gone out of their way too look up the details? Or are you just going along with the crowd? Again. Research people. Its not just for school.
