Does anyone remember the shows that came on Nick Jr. in the early 90's?

There was this one cartoon about a gnome and that is all I can remember, and then there was another show with this one guy just singing these songs and playing games with a lot of kids.

If anyone could tell me the names of these I would really appreciate it.

Rupert, Papa Beaver's Story Time, Allegra's Window, Little Bear(was a bit later in the 90's), Eureka's Castle, David the Gnome, etc. were all shows on there. I liked Rupert probably the most when I watched this occasionally.

And Cow and Chicken is on Cartoon Network now, or at least it was. It had a funny voice cast, and was a bit like Ren and Stimpy in how it was gross in a lot of ways but that was how I saw it when I watched it. I thought it was funny. Especially since it was paired up with that I am Weasel show.

The second one you're thinking of is prolly "Fred Penner's Place" I don't know about him playing with a bunch of kids, but he would sing all these songs, and had a little puppet froggy with a toupee.

There was The Adventures of David the Gnome, Pinwheel (carried on thru the early 90's) Eureeka's Castle, Today's Special, The Noozles, The Adventures of the Little Koala, Mapletown, Belle and Sebastian, The Little Prince, Fred Penner's Place, The Elephant Show...yeah, I'm sure I'm blurring the mid-late 80's with the early 90's but some of the show's carried over.

I think later on in the Allegra's Window era was a show called Gullah Gullah Island as well; by that time though I was in High School.

So, like, what happened to Nick Jr.? What's up with this Rugrats crap? I remember when Rugrats was part of the Saturday night line up, with Doug and Ren and Stimpy.

It's OK, next time I'll make you listen. I wish that it were in the power of all children to say that to their parents and to know that indeed they would be heard as we were in those wonderful days on Waltons Mountain.Narrator The Waltons (From the Runawa

I remember one summer all summer long I babysat my three year old sister and I made grilled cheese sandwhiches almost every single day. We watched Maya the bee, eurekas castle, papa beavers story time, fred penners place, noozles, today's special, etc. Good times. I don't remember face coming on until later, like when my sister was in kindergarden.

I used to love watching Nick Jr. I watched The Elephant Show a lot. I only vaguely remember Pinwheel...I think they stopped airing it shortly after I got cable.
