Right now, I'm currently volunteering part-time at a YMCA, where I do various tasks from filing papers to setting up a whole soccer field.

That's nice I hope you have fun, I volunteered this past second semester of school at a DayCare Center, and it was ......... Nightmarish to put it nicely,

I did at the library fdew years back. I felt so unmotivated due to the total lack of pay, but at least its good to put under a resume.

When I was a Boy Scout, we often did volunteer work, sometimes locally, other times away from the neighborhood. This was often in evidence at Boy Scout camp, where each troop was required to rotate certain tasks on a day-to-day basis.

Aside from that, I haven't done any volunteer work in a long time.

I was in high school the last time I did volunteer work.

Except I'm still in scouts. But yeah, what Caps said.

I'm looking for some to do just to get out of the house, and have it look good on a job application.

I'm a volunteer at a farm where they take care of horses, chickens, dogs, cats, and rabbits that were abused and neglected. I mainly give them food and water.

In my late teens I did set up for various concerts and festivals on a volunteer basis. A few years ago I volunteered for a few years at Rogers 22 Community Cable doing camera, audio and VTR work. The workload and pace was more demanding than most paying jobs I've held and some peole on the crew were pretty full of themselves and took everything too seriously. Others were laid back and pleasant to deal with. I didn't get paid but the season ending parties were always good. One time we got to have a hockey night at the Ottawa Senators' practice space and another time we got to see Mavis Staples and the Blind Boys of Alabama for free.

I'm constantly doing volunteer work. I've mostly volunteered with troubled youth, mentoring and stuff like that. Victims of child abuse have a special place in my heart.

I've volunteered a lot over the years for various causes. If I won the lottery, I'd probably only do volunteer work, but right now I spend all my volunteer hours helping my fiance with his business. It's completely volunteer run (people just can't comprehend this), but he wants to profit to pay himself to work on it full time.
