I was going through my VHS collection over the weekend and I realized a few titles I LOVE but would be embarrassed to admit. There's "B.A.P.S." (aka Black American Princesses) starring Halle Berry - definetly NOT an oscar worthy performance. Sooo many stereotypes, really obvious plot, etc. But for some strange reason I can watch it over and over and even get teary eyed! Other bad movies I love are the classic "Hello Mary Lou : Prom Night 2" and Oh Lord, I can't believe I'm typing this....... "On the Line" starring Lance Bass and Joey Fatone of N*SYNC. So Retro Junkers, what are your favorite bad movies? * They can't be worse than mine.........*
"I'll put trademarks around your fuc#*ing eyes!" - Sonny Carson from "The Education of Sonny Carson"
Flash Gordon from 1980. Watched it with my kids the other day, wow it is horrible. I loved it still and they hated it. Brings back memories of when I was a kid.
I don't want to sell anything, buy anything, or process anything as a career. I don't want to sell anything bought or processed, or buy anything sold or processed, or process anything sold, bought, or processed, or repair anything sold, bought, or process
I don't watch bad movies so I'll have to think a bit. I could make a list of really bad movies, or movies that I watch. Like I said, I don't watch bad movies....which explains why my dvd collection is only about 380 or so. The closest thing to a bad movie that I like to watch would be the first Pink Panther movie (haven't seen the second) and The Twilight Zone movie.
The only movie I can think of is Good Burger, I didn't realize this movie got bad reviews until recently, but like most other classic bad movies, it's a cult following.
I know there are probably better horrible movies I could mention but since I have only had one cup of coffee this morning I can only think of these two.
Summer Camp Nightmare
and, I Come In Peace
I love these movies, but everyone I have ever showed them too think they're just horrible.
YOU MIGHT THINK I'M ALONE IN MY ADULATION OF SPIDER-MAN. YOU MIGHT THINK THAT I'M SOMEHOW SOCIALLY OR EMOTIONALLY RETARDED TO STILL HAVE SUCH GREAT PASSION FOR SOMETHING AIMED, ESSENTIALLY, AT CHILDREN, AND CREATED ALMOST 50 YEARS AGO.
