I was 10. Friends was a super popular show. Power rangers was the s**t. My goal in life was to be a actress (not much has changed). I was reading the babysitters club books. The Lion King Came out that year. I went to Hawaii the second time. Thats all I can think of at the moment.

It was good to finally leave this school I went to. It was only for a year, but I couldn't stand those kids. I didn't have enemies, but I didn't really make friends either because I didn't like them.

I either had to be fake and makes friends or be truthful and be alone. So I was alone. I knew it was only going to be for a year. Another student moved there towards the end and we had similar backgrounds so we got along. Maybe I'll write about some of the stories there. I was so glad to leave.

I was 4-5 years old. I'd normally hang out at the currently destroyed mall, play with toys, watch Nickelodeon, etc. Out of all the years in the 90's, 1994 would be the best.

I remember Crystal Clear Pepsi. I moved to Japan that year for 4 years. I felt like I wa sin a time capsule after I came back to the US in 1998. My dad wa sin the military. So much changed when I got back to the US. DVD's were becoming popular. Soda bottles were no longer class but plastic. There was no more Crystal Clear pepsi. Things just changed in 4 years.

In 1994, little did I know I was in for the same fate.

Let's see, some highlights during my first year of freedom from high school:

    1. Plowed through temp job after temp job, quitting each one within a few weeks until I found one I was ok with (forklift operator at an industrial plant). I'd get drunk with the supervisor atleast three nights a week over at his house. We'd raise our mugs and sing along with old 80's metal blasting through the stereo like a couple of damn Klingons. That gig lasted a good four months.

    2. Spent a good portion in between jobs at the beach, contemplating just what the hell I was going to do with my life.

    3. Banged an old Pearl kit with a garage band, pretending to be the next greatest heavy metal act. Our singer was such a ass.

    4. Fell into a depression over losing my girlfriend in '93. Chose my friends over her, and regret it to this very day.

    5. Played way too many PC games and did alot of experimenting instead of looking for a job or taking interest in college, which ultimately turned my parents' home into the ultimate bum hangout for my friends. That sure did end with a bang.

Yeah, '94 kinda sucked for me.
