Thread: Smoker breaks at work

    Not a problem Gumby. I am sorry that I was not more clear in my post. I completely agree that if smokers are going to take MANY extra breaks, then the rest of us can take similar breaks but for our habits and hobbies.
    I gotta have more cowbell babies!!!
    I have a fever and the only cure is more cowbell!!!

    Well im glad evrything panned out between us freind, i would follow up on my original statment and post happy scripture but im sure the mods have had enough

    Your manager just wants to know where you are. In most states it is the law that you get a 30 and a few 10's, personal bad habits *cough*smoking*cough*, aside...but it is your job to approach management and ask for it. I should know, as I am a manager, the kids who ask for breaks usually get them and ones who don't ask I assume don't care to take one. Speaking from experience your manager is probably just really busy and doesn't have time to babysit.

    (Not tryin' to be rude here, sorry if it sounds that way!!) Good luck at work...ask for your breaks, you are entitled.
