Hmm, cartoons of now? And by now, I'm assuming current. Not something that started in the 90s and still around now. The only thing that's coming to mind for me right off is The Boondocks.

heh So do I as well as a now Decade old Nephew and a 3 year old Nephew. However I'll have to Disagree with some of your Choices. Backyardigans (or as I call them Hooligans) are an Ok show to watch. Wonder pets are Cute. But I really Don't care for Calliou. (the puppets segments are cool)

    *Edited for Demeaning someonelse's Choices.

    Robot Chicken
    Metalocalypse
    Drawn Together
    Code Monkeys

And I'm probably the only one who thinks that 80s cartoons wasn't that great. Sure they are good for nostalgia, but after rewatching them, I found a lot of them to be pretty awful. HORRIBLE animation, horrible dialouge and they just don't stand the test of time.

Hey, any Tutenstein fans around here?

Back in 2004-2006 I used to catch this on Discovery Kids.

Tutenstein Rocks! Face it, there are so many things that could go wrong with the idea behind this toon. Yet Porchlight Entertainment does an excellent job at making this toon hit all the right buttons.

Right off the bat I knew Tutenstein was onto something because the show isn't just about Cleo and Tut. There are all kinds of other characters that take this toon over the top. I really didn't expect all the different visitors that haunt each episode. And the best part, there's something a little bit odd about the "underworld" characters. I don't mean in a planned way - something about the draw style and voice-overs lend a creepy feel to Tutenstein.

One nice touch is how the visitors from the underworld never "over act" no matter how bizarre they appear. Restraint shows good writing in my opinion.

I agree with the members on the Internet Movie Database, most cartoons today are "flat", Tutenstein gets attention with unexpected scenes. Sometimes predicable, yet even the most routine toon action is just odd enough to keep me watching.

"Kenny the Shark" wasn't too shabby either, but Tutenstein was a real standout.

The Eldorado is dead. Long live the Eldorado.

I love flapjack. Good humor even for adults.

I'm afraid you are greviously mistaken. 'flapjack' is nothing but undeluded urine filled backwash. It advertises with major selling points like pirates and adventure, knowing that kids will be drawn to it like zombies to a slow moving fat guy, and what they deliver is retarded ADHD sugar feuled horse shit. *Bastards!* It is because of shows like flapjack that I fear the current generation will be a waist because of the visual grule they are being raisedon.

However, I feel that Spongebob Squarepants is pretty good on account of it has all the makings of a good cartoon. Also, the Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy was good due to it's paranormal themes and crule humor.
