Dave Matthews doesn't make it for me either. It all seems pretty bland and showoffy to me, like Counting Crows music being played in 6/8 time or something.

    AC/DC

That is it for me. How could anyone put Radiohead on here?

When I was in college, EVERYONE was into the Dave Matthews Band but me and my friends.

Yeah, Dave Matthews was to college students, what Limp Bizkit was to trailer parks- crap that everyone around seemed to love for no real reason. I used to work at this factory and hung out with some folks that lived in the trailers, they were good people, but good God they loved the Limp Bizkit.

Anyway I have to agree that White/Rob Zombie were a little overrated, I like the songs, but once you've heard one Zombie song, you've pretty much heard them ALL.

Now there's something we can agree on.

No argumenets from me, I think they had some good songs but are way too overrated. Alot of bands of their time were doing as good or better hard rock than them and they were never that good live after the early 70's, "I don't think that solo was long enough at 25 minutes, how about going another 10?" Zzzz. And alot of people treat them like they're the only rock band that ever mattered. They're all missing out on some really good music by doing that.

Don't get me wrong, I like Sublime, NIN and RATM, I just don't think their as orgasmically great as everyone makes them out to be. There's better industrial music than NIN, there's better California stoner ska than Sublime, and even though the rap metal genre was perfected by RATM, it got old fast, and it still isn't better than political rap groups like NWO and Public Enemy.

Bands like The Vines and Jet are overhyped.
U2 also are overhyped for what you get these days.
And Elvis, although I know he's not a band per se. He should of stuck with black artists to keep any street cred he had. Most people remember him as a bloated jumpsuited Vegas man, not what he was like before Parker got hold of him.

Personally I always found Tom Petty overrated and boring, but most people would disagree...to me he just doesn't have any soul.
