Do you remember the gum that you could eat with the wrapper? I think it was big red or another Cinnamon flavored gum. I always hated the gum but I would always buy it just to eat the wrapper because I thought it made me kool. Anyone else do this as a kid?

There was a gum where you could eat the wrapper. The paper wrapper.

If you're thinking of Stride gum in the '80s, that's just an urban legend. The wrappers weren't really edible.

Yes. I also remember the wrapper not contributing anything to the taste of the gum.

They didn't make Stride in the '80s, Cadbury unveiled it in '06.
