I'm serious I just can't believe that.....hell I half the time I couldn't believe kids born in 2000 and later are 9, 8, etc. Anyway, was there a time in your life that you couldn't believe you were a certain age or was going to be at that age. I'm very serious this is the last couple of months of my childhood.

That was funny really it's not......well I don't know to me if it was that fine I enjoyed my childhood. I got to experience some of the 90s and 00s (even though this decade was kind of wack). Seriously it's okay.

lol well you got a while to wait, that'll probably kick in months later. I thought I was getting old when I turned 20, but it wasn't that different from 19....21 is a little different, no more teeny bopper lol.

I remember the day I turned 18... it was during the summer. I had just graduated high school. I stood outside on that cool July evening, and let the sweet wind wisp across my face... for I knew that I had finally become a man, with all of the responsibilites and burdens that such a title imply.

It was also the first day I could buy my own cigarettes without having to hit on the checkout girl.

When I turned 18 I was still in HS, still lived at home, still looked young for my age and was treated as such. Even though I was an adult I still felt like a kid. In school they still treat you like a kid too yet if you got in a fight they automatically brought you to jail. They even told me I couldn't have cigarettes in my car even though I was of age.

I remember being with my friends and buying some paint at walmart and thinking how cool I was when I showed my ID to the clerk. I soon got tired of having to show it all the time to buy cigs or to see movies and wanted to look my age. What's funny up until I quit almost 2 months ago I still use to get carded for cigarettes and I ALWAYS get carded for alcohol.

Ok, this isn't meant to be an insult..LOL but especially being a guy, your probably not going to really be more mature for quite a few more years. You've got many rowdy bar years ahead of you, unless your not into that stuff. I've seen quite a few people in their late 20s that aren't quite mature yet They have more responsibility (job, bills, etc) but are far from mature. BUT..we're all different. You never know what could happen in a year.

Then again..you could be a girl. I always thought you were a guy, but sometimes it's hard to tell here. Heck, my husband and I are both 28 and have an almost 5 year old and I still wouldn't consider us highly mature yet.

It's funny, i've seen some people that are resposible and mature while sober, but put a few drinks in them and it's like you may as well put a diaper on them and hold their hand everywhere or they will get in trouble and wet their pants

Yeah I figured after I had written all that you probably might have been a girl so I edited it to add that part in LOL but yeah, it's really hard to tell what you will be like. Some people are more mature than others. I have seen parents that are very mature around their kids but get them alone and they will knock down drag out fight and act very obnoxious. And I don't want to generalyze and say that all bar hoppers are immature so I won't say that..BUT..with a husband in the navy, I have seen some pretty damn stupid behavior from people in their late 20s, early 30s. I guess it all depends on if they can hold their liquir or not. Some people act like complete douche bags. I've also seen some adults throw some major tantrums in department stores

Heck I don't know if we ever really mature BUT my husband loves to tease me and call me an old lady because I don't drink, don't smoke, I don't like the surround sound so loud that I can't hear the phone or the doorbell ring(and I don't want to disturb the neighbors) I don't like the bass on the car stereo so bad that the car vibrates, etc LOL

Yes, Nastra is gonna be legal soon >: D

    I MEAN...

You were legal at age 16 here in Georgia >: D

    I MEAN...

Just wait till your 19 and your 20th birthday is coming up. THEN you'll be like "Man, I'm officially no longer even gonna be a teen anymore...wowzers..."

Then you'll realize you're still not 21 yet and can't buy your own beer

and can't goto casinos and can't get your CDL blah blah blah..

that being said, it's funny. as a kid you always want to become an adult then one day it just smacks you in the face.

that being said, when I turned 18 I didn't feel much different, but thankfully I only had a couple more months in HS.
