Woman in Chains by Tears for Fears (featuring Oletta Adams right?)brought tears to my eyes as an impressionable five-year old. When I was thirteen I rediscovered music thanks to the Gorillaz. Clint Eastwood is still one of my favourite tracks.

Yes it was with Oletta Adams. I really enjoyed the music that they created with her.

One of my favourite songs is Save A Prayer by Duran Duran. My GOD Simon Le Bon was a spoonfull of yummy in that video.

I remember it being the Beach Boys greatest hits CD and "I'm a Believer" by the Monkees.
Times have a changed, although I can still listen to some Beach Boys.

    No what?

Incidentally, some other favourite songs of the past of mine were Phil Collins - Sussudio, B-52's - Love Shack, Genesis - I Can't Dance and that Lambada song. I don't remember the name of that band anymore though. Can anyone help me out?

EDIT: Kale, do you perhaps mean that No No No No There's No Limit song by 2 Unlimited? Or is that a Dutch thing?

Beat It by Michael Jackson. It was on a Jukebox at Roy's Taco House where mom and Dad loved eating. Every time we'd go there I'd beg for money to play it.
YOU MIGHT THINK I'M ALONE IN MY ADULATION OF SPIDER-MAN. YOU MIGHT THINK THAT I'M SOMEHOW SOCIALLY OR EMOTIONALLY RETARDED TO STILL HAVE SUCH GREAT PASSION FOR SOMETHING AIMED, ESSENTIALLY, AT CHILDREN, AND CREATED ALMOST 50 YEARS AGO.

The Monkees - (I'm not your) Steppin' Stone
Paul Simon - Diamonds on the Souls of her Shoes
Cat Stevens - Where do the Children Play?

Oddly enough, I still listen to all these artists! My Dad played their albums all the time.

The earliest one I remember was 'Maxwell's Silver Hammer' by the Beatles. I was a weird kid...

Haha sweet. That song was awesome! One of the great examples of the fruitiness of the 90's.

Speaking of which: Groove is in the Heart by Deeelite and Shiny Happy People by R.E.M featuring that chick from the B-52's. Great examples of 90's music, and some of my personal favourites.
