Ron Asheton, best known for being the lead guitar player on the first two Stooges albums, bass player on the incredible Raw Power album and having retruned to his role of lead guitar with the reunited Stooges was found dead of a heart attack last Tuesday. Ron's playing was highly influential and his death is a sad loss to music.

I saw this on some news site really late Tuesday night. It really blows.
