So ever either been flippin' through the channels, wanted to see it, or somethin else you did that made you land on a premire of a new show? And you watched the whole first episode and thought it was die out soon, but it became majorly successful?

EX- Spongebob :0..... Seinfeld, Freinds, Simpsons, etc?

    If you have, tell!

I thought that American Idol would fail in current years.

I did that with Lost and Prison Break.

I was flipping through the channels, and saw a jungle. I thought it was a nature show. It turned out to be Lost. I really expected it to vanish in a few weeks. After season 2 I stopped watching.

With Prison Break, there was nothing on tv so I just watched the 2 hour first episode expecting to hate it. I liked it and didn't expect it to last. I watched until the end of season 1. I mean they broke out of prison, which was the point. So to me the show ended there. I think it's on like season 3 or 4 now.

Well, to be honest, it may be a little modern, but I thought the animated show, "The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack" would stink, but it actually turned outto be quite good.

I can't beleive Seinfield lasted as long as it did.

Then there are shows that don't last long or get cancelled before the plot gets resolved and it drives you nuts. Like Torklesons Almost Home and Moesha. I didn't care for Moesha but someone found out they were pregnant at the end of the episode and the little brother was kidnapped. They didn't come back for another season so you never found out who was pregnant and what happened to the brother.

I can't beleive Sabrina The Teenage Witch lasted as long as it did. I mean Melissa hit paydirt with that one. She just came off a pretty succesful Nickelodeon series as Clarissa and then almost immediatly was playing a highschooler again and that one lasted quite awhile as well.

I was surprised the George Lopez show lasted as long as it did. Which wasn't horribly long.

I sort of liked 3rd Rock From The Sun but didn't think it would last long.

I loved Weeds but didn't think it would last long and now it's going into yet another season. I still don't think there is much more they can do with the show. They are stretching things a bit.

I didn't care much for the first episode of Entourage, so I was surprised when it went into season after season and when I started watching it all over again I actually liked it.

I thought Spongebob was completly stupid, but there was obviously way more than enough people who disagreed.

Season 2 was great as well. But season 3 was pretty lame and season 4 sucks.

I watched the series premier of Gilmore Girls and thought it wouldn't last a whole season. I'm sure there are others but I can't really think about anymore

Yeah, Frazier and Seinfeld I will agree with. I really didn't like Seinfeld's pilot back in the day.

When Pokemon was first introduced in the States, I thought it was going to fail. How wrong I was...

I didn't think it was gonna fail, I just didn't expect it to get popular. At all. So if that counts, I saw the premiere as well.

I meant the video game, not the show. I'm not a Pokemon fan.
