You forgot "Too many shitty spoof movies".

They need to stop remaking old movies and make original ones. Is Hollywood that dry on ideas for movies? The remakes usually suck anyways.

You're getting a nice warm welcome here Zeromage. Anyway that has been an issue with the movies for about 12 years now. There are still some good movies though. My issue with movies is when they try to integrate too much modern decor, clothing and technology. Like movies of the past they will be dated in 10 years. Like the 80s movies where they are talking on those brick looking cell phones with their 80s hair and clothing. Keep those things more generic and the movie will be watchable years later.

Yeah, I'm jumping in here too. Good to meet ya Zeromage.
It never hurts to revisit this topic here on RJ. Have to agree with many of the points made on Old-Wizard, especially over "original content".
I want writers to come up with NEW IDEAS.

After seeing nearly 20 or so of ZeroMage's lists that he's posted on the site, I can officially say that he's knocked out the AVGN as "biggest bullshitter of all time".

    I second this opinion.

I bet some of you including the Wizard, think that "Batman Begins" and "Dark Knight" are remakes. NO! they are not, they are part of a seperate and new reboot franchise that discards the Tim Burton and Joel Schumacher Batman movies out the window, Batman has been told many times on film as "BB" and "Dark Knight" have became the definite live-action Batman movies.

The Batman films are a prime example of why ZeroMage's article is inherently false. Batman Begins and The Dark Knight are infinitely better than any other Batman film, except for the original.

    Which one 1966 or 1989?

There has been some excellent remakes in recent memory such as "The Departed", "3:10 to Yuma", "Dawn of the Dead", "The Hills Have Eyes" etc. and some bad ones like "Psycho (1998)".

I agree with numbers 6 and 1. Who the hell would want Miley Cyrus to star in bolt? Or why does everything have to fucking CGI?! Bottom line, learn to use stop motion animation, god dammit! Look at the Rankin/Bass specials, they looked like they were in CGI, but hell no. They used wooden action figures to make the characters! It's so retarded that people today can't do that!
