I wish I could get into these games. I could never get used to the controls, sadly. But I still will probably pick up Resident Evil 4 for the Wii when the price drops a bit more.
I never played much of the Resident Evil series. I used to own Resident Evil 2 for the Playstation but I had no idea how to play it.
Later on I borrowed Resident Evil: Code Veronica X for the PS2 and I really enjoyed that game. It's too bad I didn't have a PS2 memory card to save my game (it was around the time when I first got the PS2).
The only RE games I have played (and own) are Resident Evil and Resident Evil Zero on Gamecube. I have almost gotten through the first one, it is sweet, but not easy.
I do like them, but I wouldn't really say I am a huge fan.
I've got all the Resident Evil games except for the crappy games Gun survivor and also that Dead Aim (Not saying thats crap because i have'nt played it)
Them Outbreak games are Fcuken hard and good shame the computer AI for them is dodge.
Dead Aim is definitely the worst in the series (in my opinion), but it's still a lot of fun to pick up and play when you need to kill a couple of hours. If I remember correctly, wasn't Dead Aim the one where you couldn't save and it was extremely short?

I believe you are thinking of Resident Evil: Survivor for the PSone. Dead Aim was on the PS2 and wasn't bad, had some kick ass save room music.
I like all the games (even "Resident Evil 4", which should be considered more as action-horror than survival horror, since you get a ridiculous amount of ammo). But my personal favorite will always be "Resident Evil 3: Nemesis". Out of all the RE titles, it freaked me out the most.

Yeah, you're right, it was Survivor. I honestly don't even remember Dead Aim. I need to check this game out.
It's quite decent but the original, remake, part 4 and part 2 are the best. Part 3 is kind of weak but still very good stuff and i can't wait for the zombies's return in "Resident Evil 5".
