Of course they do, and they'll probably have a celebration for it. I think Nickelodeon is leaving this as a surprise because for example, Nickelodeon is in the works for a gameshow called "BrainSurge," Nickelodeon hasn't said a word about that, the reason people have heard about this is from blogs and photos from people who work on the show. And if they do have a celebration for their 30th Anniversary, it most won't likely happen until June.

I doubt they would do a new version of Nick Arcade. Gaming has changed a lot throughout the years so therefore, making a new version of Nick Arcade wouldn't be the same as the original.

Making a new version of Guts is something that actually works, and I thought it was good. Making a new version of Nick Arcade just wouldn't work at all.

You knew things where bad when they tore down the slime geyser in orlando. For me, that marked the official end of all that was sacred in the nick world. RIP Eureka's Castle!

no it more of Get the picture! Here is a Website I found about the new gameshow.

(It’s a game of memory and concentration, which almost sounds a bit like the old 90s kids game show Get the Picture. Contestants from the ages 11 to 14 have a chance to win up to $3,000 in prizes if they make it on, which is pretty good for people that age. Losers get sent down the “Brain Drain” to get slimed. it also Live in Hollywood when they film all the stuff at the studios.)

Nick 30th years old well I will just say I thank Nick for the shows of the 80's to the mid 90's. I thank them also for creating to me the best 2hour broadcast segament for which was Snick. I really will be surprised if they did something but you never know they surprised me 10yrs ago by having a 20yr one so you never know with Nick because they haven't been consisted since the mid 90's

Well, I lost Nickelodeon GAS on Channel 177 on Dish Network just recently (Being replaced by "Cartoon Network" on the west coast)and I'm already missing all the classic Nickelodeon Game Shows now. But I hope Nickelodeon does aired some classic shows (I highly doubt) if they do celebrate it's 30th anniversary.

You're not missing anything, Nickelodeon GAS is officially gone, now's there's nothing left of classic Nickelodeon on tv, except for Ren and Stimpy, which airs only the Games Animation episodes and only airs at 4am on Nicktoons Network on weekends, and also Gullah Gullah Island, which also airs at 4am, but everyday of the week.

Well, June has passed, and there has been no celebration for Nickelodeon's 30th Birthday. I guess they're too worked up on Spongebob's 10th Anniversary, that they can't afford to celebrate two very special things at once. I knew this would happen, and I was right. However, they did do something, something that has not been done in 25 years. They made a new Nickelodeon logo. I'm not sure if this logo is permanent, but in recent Nickelodeon merchandise and ads released, they have a different logo. If they do make this their permanent logo, just keep the logo changed, and not the programming line-up. The new logo is quite interesting, it kind of resembles to the original logo used in the early 80s. So, here's the new logo:

Maybe the 30 year olds watching Nickelodeon should fucking STOP and grow the hell up.

Seriously, is everybody here special ed or something? Aren't we supposed to be watching channels like A&E, Bravo, Spike, or hellfire even HBO? Why the hell are you still watching kids' programming?

It isn't for you. It is the same quality of programming that it ever was. You outgrew it. For fuck's sake, LET IT DIE. It's OUR KIDS turn. Let them have it. The kids are not worried about what shows were on 30 years ago. They don't want to watch our old shows, just like we did not want to watch our parents' shows. And Nick, since they serve these kids, knows that, therefore they will program WHAT THEIR TARGET FUCKING AUDIENCE WANTS TO WATCH.

Sitting around as a 20 or 30 year old complaining about a child's network is sort of like going to Six Flags and bitching because you can't get on the fucking kiddie swings.

I with Velcro now, Give the fuck up its over, cant keep fighting this. Might as well remember the good times and move on to new things. If they air rocko again I'll watch but screw it Im done.

Plus youtube and other sites have videos of old nick, just download them, link pc to tv(if you can, all you need is the right Video card) or burn them to dvds and make your own dvd colections.

I did it with doug episodes.

I agree with you guys for the most part, but it would be nice to do some type of a homage to acknowledge that the station is 30 years old. Maybe just a special to show Nickelodeon throughout the years. Seems it'd be nice to use. Didn't they do something for the 20th Anniversary? I can't remember.

Nickelodeon doesn't give a shit about us 20 and 30 somethings. They don't give a shit what you guys think of their programming. I stopped watching Nickelodeon because my taste has changed and I am no longer interested in kids shows.
