Anyway, what do Danish Wedding Cookies taste like anyway? Are they like those cookies that you find in bakery tins or are they something different than that?

Hey! Thanks! I peek in from time to time but haven't posted in awhile. I've had the mulligrubs but I'm feeling much better now! (Doing my best John Astin playing Harry Stone's father on Night Court impersonation)
OK about these sublime cookies, they are really sweet as they are rolled in powdered sugar but to describe the actual taste is difficult. Of course bakery-fresh or homemade (you can find recipes online) are way better, but you can try them boxed from Keebler in the cookie isle at your favorite grocer. When I was a kid they came in a bag, the same screaming shade of pink as the the box they are now housed in. The best I can describe them is pleasantly crunchy, mildly buttery, with maybe a hint of coconut? There is no coconut in them that I know of but somehow there is a suggestion of it in the flavor. I think they are basically like a shortbread or pecan sandie coated in powdered sugar. They're awesome!
