Wow, all I did in 5th grade was throw a stapler through a window. I got expelled for that. And how hard could that kid hit? 4 feet tall, 54lbs? Sounds like we have a mighty midget twig-boy.

Adult charges over a childish tantrum... He's 12, he can't do that anymore and still get a slap on the wrist. He got what he deserved. He definitely should have been expelled for that. You can't keep a student around who's violent towards the staff, it looks bad. I'm betting he frequently causes trouble, which could be why they put him in juvie.

you guys complain that kids today are such pussies, but when something like happens, you say it bad. Now saying that, do I think he sould throw rocks at a pregnant woman? No. But if a kid gets mad, give him a fuckin lollipop, not a criminal record. And what about the principal? There is difference between learning a lesson and getting fucked for life. This kid is 12 people, not 21. He doesn't have adult intelligence, hes not a peanuts character. He wont be able to do simple things like apply for college, or apply for a job w/o this getting in the way. I don't have mixed feelings about this, the kid is 4ft, 54lbs, and there is a school full of pussy adults.

    Isn't that a little extreme?

Isn't beating a pregnant woman a little extreme? I say we pour hot grease down his throat.

Sure, if a kid's severly acting up, he needs to be taught a lesson, but I just cringe when I see these elementary-aged kids being treated like criminals, etc...

BS! He's 12, not 2, he needs a taste of adult punishment. You can't let a kid that old throw violent tantrums and then ignore it. He's well over old enough to know better. He's headed straight for a violent adulthood, probably because his parents never told him to stop hitting his siblings at home. And it makes no difference that he got arrested, his record will be cleared before he's 16 as long as he straightens up. The ones that don't learn deserve to have their mistakes follow them around.

Isn't the chair a little extreme for that crime? ffs it's not like he killed the fetus or anything.

yes you kill the fetus, bad BAD things will happen to you. Damn liberals (?).

I think we have a lot of criminals in the world. So much that certain acts don't even surprise me. Although what does surprise me is young kids/little kids committing crimes. Thankfully crimes amoungst pre-teen children aren't as common as adults or teens but that still doesn't make it right. I mean this kid is 12 so he's still a pre-teen which is why it seems bizarre but of corse it's true if publicity is covering it. But besides the point I think anyone in their right mind that would pose a threat in terms of wanting to kill someone or someone who actually does it or attempts to do it theres something not right in their head.

He's a little kid. And if you've seen pictures of him, you can tell he obviously can't hit hard. Unless he likes deforms the baby, I don't think he should be punished like this.
