Not of This Earth (1957). This movie scared me so bad my father wouldn't let me watch "Thriller Theater" for a whole month.

The Eldorado is dead. Long live the Eldorado.

Ive never really thought of any movie as scary. Although when I saw The Ring in theaters a few years back it was pretty scary.

The movie is called "Society"(1989)and it is one of the most messed movies ever made. It's about a teenager who tries to fit in. Overall it is more bizarre than scary, or maybe it's just creepy.

None of the older cheesy movies really scare me. I love all the cheesy 80s horrors like Amityville and Nightmare on Elm Street and Poltergeist and stuff like that. However..it's the newer, psychologicly ones that creep me out. Like the girl walking out of the well in the ring, and the girl in the grudge..the way they walk..it just freaks me out. The ghost boy meowing, that freaks me out. I don't like how they make them walk slow and then in two seconds they are in your face.

Two older ones that have one or two scenes that get me are 1.) In The Mouth Of Madness where the boy is on a bike and then a few minutes later he ages to be an old man. Something about it is just creepy.

    2) tv movie called Haunted where a woman moves her family and father and mother in law into a duplex. She starts hearing her mother in law calling her name when she isn't home. The entity was using her mother in law's voice, it was creepy. Black shadows would float by. Whenever she rested her face on her pillow she heard whispers inside it. Some sort of entity raped her husband. It was just an unsettling movie. Scarier than the amityville horror to me, as it was more low budget and realistic.

Here's the link to the Haunted movie that creeps me out. Really, really low-budget but for some reason it gets me.

When I was a kid it was the Monster Squad. I vividly remember my dad picking me up from after school daycare when I was six and rent that movie. I don't know what he was thinking but about 10 mins into it I was so scared I started crying. I didn't actualy get to see the whole thing till many years later when I caught it on late night TV in college. Gotta say the opening still freaked me out a little even then...Now I'd have to say the scariest movie for me is the Exorcist, and I'm sure most people can understand why.

I have to admit The Large Marge scene creeped me out.
Oh crap, how could I have forgotten Boogedy? Mr Boogedy used to scare the crap out of me. It still DOES creep me out a bit.

I remember watching Monster Squad at someone's birthday party from my third grade class. I had already seen it, and knew the part with the three girl vampires that come out of the closet was coming up. I had thought that one of the vampires looked like a girl in our class so I told everyone to let me know what THEY thought. Some obnoxious kid who always had to be right kept telling me there was no such scene and that there were NO girl vampires in it and tried to make me look like a fool. I was really embarassed. Five minutes later that part came on and he acted like he never said it wasn't there. I HATE people like that lol
