i was having a talk with my uncle the other day and we got to talking abour retro game systems. he says man nobody wants old outdate systems. i said man a ton of people probably do, which i pointed to people here on rj. he said that their probaby the only ones. which brings me to my question, are there alot of people on here as well as people you know who arent on rj that still buy and own retro video game systems? And if so what are the high in demand ones. I still want an orignal NES a Snes.. but mainly an N64
meh. I have some friends who buy older stuff. But the majority of gamers don't. Me personally I put WAY more money into older systems. It's not because I'm nostalgic or anything. It's just there's more fun games to collect on them.
I still buy retro games and systems. I play as many retro games as much as I play current games.

i still purchase the classic games which are reminders of way back when a game didn't need licensed music, 3-D graphics, or even have graphic violence to be good.

Of course there's people who still collect old systems. Many people I know do. Last month, when I was looking at a flea market, they had 2 Atari systems, The 2600 and the 7800. I was gonna get the 2600 but it was $40 bucks which I didn't have the money to get so I didn't get the Atari 2600. I looked today to see if they still had it but I didn't find it anywhere.
I would if I could find any retro game stuff around where I live. As it is, right now most of my retro game collecting has to be done by downloading older games off the Virtual Console.
