This guy decided to get a tattoo of Lucario. I will give the artist (not him) props for making such a cool tribal design out of such a cutesy character. I'd be sorely tempted to get a similar tat had it already not been made because I'm just a nutty Lucario fan.

I hate tattoos, they're so unnecessary, and Pokémon isn't something you want everybody to know you like.

...Maybe I should take some lessons myself about that. But seriously, in another topic you posted about a DeviantArt with yaio, I really don't think this is the kind of place you should be. Go find some faggy fag message board.

If you're old enough to get a tattoo, you're too old to be playing Pokemon.

    I resent that.

Pokémon's a great game for all ages (sorry to sound like an advertisement, but really it is), the show certainly isn't, and maybe not anything else, but there's no "recommended ages" for the mainstream games. Hell kids in my high school play those more than anything when they bring a portable system.

When they should be doing their work. I hate to say it, but "Pokect Monster Trainer" isn't a valid course you can take at any colleges. Except in the deep south.

I think it's kinda sad that schools have reached a level of coddling now that they actually allow people to play video games in class. I remember getting into immediate trouble if any teacher even saw a Game Boy or a Giga Pet, even if it was study hall.

Wow, talk about major derailing of the initial topic. And so soon - it are sad.

We only do during flex, which is when you go to two of your classes for forty five minutes just to do work or get help or something, not instructional class time. We got in trouble for anything of the sort in middle school.

What the Hell is flex? I never had flex in high school. You went to four one and a half hour classes, you ate lunch, you took a leak, and then you went home. And when you got home, only if you didn't have an essay the next day or a test to study for, then... THEN, by God, you had time to play a few hours of Shining Force II before bed.

Yeah, they just added flex the year I got into high school. We do that one and a half hour class thing too, but on B days the second class is replaced by flex, while A days are just four classes straight.

Cool, but I prefer Piplup. Lucario is the most overrated Pokemon of all time. In movies and SSBB and not even a legendary or one of the main trainers own. What kind of shit is that?

I'm in high school now, and I don't have flex. Basically every school I know has four 1 1/2 hour classes. I can't say I've ever heard of a place that had an essay and test every day though, and I'm taking college courses as well. What school did you go to?

We didn't have them every day, I was really just giving Scotty-boy a hard time.

    But, to answer your question.

Campbell County High School, Tennessee. Class of 2002.

OMG! Same here. I had like two Gigapets (one was a Little Mermaid one) and a Nanobaby in High School (I was in 10th I think) and I would get in trouble for it. A lot of people had them, but we weren't allowed to have then out in class at all.

That aside, it's a cool tattoo, even though I, personally, would never get a tattoo of anything. I also don't see anything wrong with adults playing games, just as long as it doesn't get in the way of real responsibilities. At my old job, if I was bored, I'd pull out the old Gameboy Color and play that old Pokemon TCG while on my lunch break or Sonic on my laptop. I never did anything like that during work hours, though.

There's totally nothing wrong with adults playing video games. It seems to be a popular belief (not here, but in general) that video games are only for children, and that any adult that is a gamer is immature. And that's total bullshit - tons of adults play video games and card games. Not to mention the people who make the video games are adult gamers too.

I think it's awesome when an adult fan can flaunt that they love something considered "for da childrenz", like Pokemon, Care Bears, or other cartoon or game series. If you walk around with a Pokemon shirt on, a lot of people are going to laugh. Having to hide the fact you like something just because it might be aimed at a younger demographic is stupid and I really do applaud people who can wear their Pokemon hat or their Spongebob shirt or Hello Kitty nipple guards and not feel ashamed about it.
