Some movies can last 170 minutes or even longer. Are there any long movies that you have seen?

Stephen King books are often made into TV mini-series movies. Later on they get played on TNT or USA as daytime weekend programming. I think The Stand took at least 10 hours to watch the whole way through. I've also watched Rose Red, Storm of the Century, and The Langoliers in similar ways.
Dune was a long movie too, but I watched that over 2 nights.

I've seen all the LOTR movies (extended editions), but not in a row. I also saw Titanic (hated it), The Godfather, Heat, and Pearl Harbor (waste of my time).

I've seen several. I saw "Gone With The Wind" (Which lasted for 4 hours), own "Scarface" (which is almost 3 hours long) and viewed "Titanic" during its' theatrical run with my first (and only, so far) girlfriend.

I was actually hoping to see "The Dark Knight" in theaters, but I think its' theatrical run has ended...At least in America.

For some reason, my parents rented Dr. Zhivago for me and my sister when we were young. I think it came on two vhs tapes.

The Cure for Insomnia is another good example. It's so long and boring (87 hours), it will literally put you to sleep!

Brave Heart is one of my favorite films ever.
    LOTR.
Remember the Titans isn't insanely long, but I watch it virtually whenever it's on tv. 30 times and counting...

Speaking of football movies, have you seen Any Given Sunday? It's 162 minutes long.

I dont care very much for long movies, because I like to watch good movies over and over, and its hard to just sit there for 4 hours and watch a movie, you have to be prepared for it and awake and focused and blah blah. Ive been wanting to show my fiance' Titanic for a while, but its so damn long and it never seems like the right time to just sit there for 4 hours and watch it .
