Hmmm... Possibly Battletoads. I could never get passed that tunnel level as a kid.. perhaps I'll try again soon to see if I can fair better this time.

    Can't think of any other.

I'm surprised how many games there are in this thread that I've beaten myself.

I'd have to say Final Fantasy IV and V on the Playstation, I just played those games over and over and over for weeks straight, yet with over 12 hours of gameplay never beat one. Too damn long in my opinion.

All three Super Mario Bros. games (there, I said it). I can get to the last world in pretty much all of them, but no further.

Mother would've been a perfect candidate a few months ago, had I not finally beaten it.

    The Jungle Book (SNES)

Damn is that game hard, the only way I beat it is by using an emulator and skipping through levels using a code lol. But for those of you who haven't played this game, I suggest giving it a try. It's challenging, and a fun platformer at the same time. Try it on an emulator if you don't have a SNES.

That's because they're "classic" RPGs. You're not going to beat either one of those in anywhere close to 12 hours. Hell, FFV should take you well over 100, if you're doing it right.

I'm pretty sure I invested way more than that, I just distinctly remember 12. They must be able to program a basic RPG in like a day to come out with these "Lord of the Rings trilogy in both movie and book format"-length ones.

wait what? It took me 60 hours to clear ff6 the first time and that was after getting virtually everything you could get in the game. Now I clear it in an average of 30 hours.

Monkey Island 3 (PC)-My Disc broke.

Monkey Island 4 (PC)-I'm stuck at the Monkey Kombat part.

Rainbow Six: Vegas (PS3)-It's such a pain in the ass, but I love it.

Tomb Raider II (PC)-I haven't played it in years though.

Transformers: The Game (XBox360)-I'm stuck at the Dam part. I feel pathetic. ops:
