When I was younger I was forced to dress as raggidy andy for halloween. I know my mom had her heart in the right place when making it, but she dident realize how much of a queer I looked in it.

I had to wear a dress shirt, tie, dress pants, dress shoes and dress socks every Tuesday for chapal days when I was in private school for 5 years. To this day I hate dress shoes! I also avoid jobs that require them.

I was forced to wear a suite for my grade 8 graduation, wich doesent mean anything at all. I could see why I should have to dress up for my grade 12 grad...Any ways I ended up weareing a pair of jeans and my old king diamond t-shirt underneath the suit, so when the dance came I just took everything off.

Ugh, I'm pretty sure my dad wanted a son when I was born. From about age 3-7, my dad dressed me in the most boyish things imaginable. He claims they were unisex, but even if they were; by the time your kid's 3, I think it's safe to dress them in more gender specific clothing. There are so many old photos of me in slacks, loafers, plaid vests, earth-toned turtlenecks...The only time I was dressed "girlie" was for special occasions. I didn't really get to start picking out my own things until I was about 8.

Hrm, seeing as how I was 6' when I was only 14, I actually had to go into a FUBU store and buy clothes. Then I found the gloriousness of Big and Tall(Now Casual Male XL) when I was 16. So besides having to shop at a store specifically for big guys like me, I never had to wear certain clothes. Except uniforms for my Boy Scout days. Which was basically every Wednesday for...12 years. And now for the profession I'm gonna go into, I'm gonna have to dress all snappy like.

Because I was a fat ass for my entire childhood, I was forced to wear what a lot of fat-assed girls are forced to wear: Kitty-cat shirts. My aunt thought I just lurved those faux-gem-encursted cat shirts and bought me nothing but. My mom also dressed me in either brightly-colored sweatpants or those stretchy pants with the straps that go under the foot. I didn't get my first pair of jeans until I was 14. I was too fat for designer clothes.

And because I went to a Catholic school, I was forced to wear a uniform - plaid skirt, knee socks, sweater vest, blouse and neck tie. Even in the summer when the school had no air conditioning. Yeah, real fun.

Dresses on special occasions. I've always hated dresses and always will; uncomfortable as hell.

I'm in the same boat as you are when I was little. I also hated wearing dresses when I went to church every Sunday. I only wear dresses on special occasions but other than that, I rarely wear dresses.

I thought gowns were a feminine thing, so I objected to wearing them at the graduations I had. I'm still perplexed as to why we all had to wear gowns...Couldn't the guys have worn suits instead?

If I really didn't like something, you couldn't get me into it. So I wasn't really forced into any clothes.
