My first concert was Night Ranger with Jefferson Starship/Airplane/whatever they call themselves this year....it was pretty cool. Night Ranger puts on one hell of a show! I saw it in either '99 or '00.

I probably should not mention this, but the first concert I ever went to was a Tiffany concert. My sister wanted to go, so my parents dragged me along.

My first concert was Aerosmith on the PUMP tour, must have been around 89 or 90. Black Crowes opened for them, and they were pretty much unknowns, only had one song.... Jealous Again on the radio. Awesome show..... glad to have it as my first concert memory.

my first concert would of been The Beach Boys
My Parents Made Me Go It Was Bad

My first concert was a Beach Boys show too, around '83. I was too young to realize half the band was touring state fairs to support a cocaine habit. But on the upside, they hadn't made Kokomo yet.

My first concert was Cheap Trick. It was the summer of '84. An outside concert at Six Flags Over Texas. It was general admission. I was still in Jr. High at the time. I was able to move up to the second row for almost all of the concert. Cool experience for my first concert.

My first concert was Kris Kross in the summer of '93. After that I'd go to concerts 3+ times a year. I was hooked.

I will not admit what my first concert was...far too embarassing. Don't even ask!

However, some shows of note that I've seen over the years...

    Ramones
Sex Pistols (reunion tour...for what it's worth)
    Jawbreaker
Green Day (twice...'91,'93...before they got famous...that's right, I'm cool!)
Pink Floyd (my God, what a show!!!!!!)
    Descendants
    Sonic Youth
    Rocket From the Crypt
    Guitar Wolf
    The Cure ('92, '96)
    Social Distortion
    Fugazi
    Gwar
    Eric Clapton
...but that only skims the surface.

And from when I was young and had TERRIBLE taste in music...
    Poison
    Cinderella
    Ratt
The Cult (although, that one's not TOO embarrassing)
Queensryche (this was on the "Empire" tour...I went cuz the entire second set was the complete "Operation: Mindcrime" album...which I still think is one of the few good late 80s hair metal records.)

    Some great shows...above

Technically my first was Dire Straits in '83, but I was only one at the time.

So the one I consider my real first would probably be Placebo in '99 (I was always too poor before that; and I'm not counting local bands).

My first one was Garth Brooks in July 1992.... I was between my freshman and sophomore years in high school, Garth Brooks was absolutely on fire as he was selling out these concerts in 15-20 minutes everywhere he went... oh how excited I was to simply have tickets.

    Night Ranger - 1985

Ironically, last concert I saw was:

    Night Ranger - 2003

Weird how it comes full circle like that. And they still sounded just as good on a smaller stage as they did on a big arena stage almost 20 years ago. Too bad nobody plays music like that anymore.

HOLY SHIT! Night Ranger toured in 2003? Did they pay YOU?

They came around here that year too. I remember because a radio station had them outside of a grocery store near me to promote it and giving away tickets. Well one of the guys in the band came up to me as I was going into the store and gave me two tickets and was like "you should come to the show tonight". I said ok and got out of there really fast. I was cracking up, my friend was like "wtf are we gonna do with these" and I was like "I dunno I like my Tp extra soft"

So there was no inappropriate touching and promises of back stage passes? They're losing their game Back stage is probably like the 4H Cattle Barn.

lol, I didn't stick around that long, I took off pretty quick. Yeah I can imagine that the people that take them up on their offer are nasty groupie leftovers.
