head maybe you could help me with this- i can't figure out who it was- but in the 80's i believe there was an artist or a band that decided to do an entire tour ON ICE!

and obviously after a few shows the rest of the schedule was cancelled because the whole show cost more to make that it was raking in. i remember watching this on VH1 or something recently. at first i thought it was meat loaf. then i thought it was liberace-can't for the life of me remember who this was!

My first concert was Def Lepard in '92 at The SIU Arena In Carbondale,IL when I was 13.

The best concert isn't of one band, but of one venue. The 2001 Warped Tour. Rancid, Me First And The Gimmie Gimmies, Bouncing Souls, Dynamite Boy, Fenix TX, Less than Jake, and many more.

But My favorite concert is either No Use For A Name, Good Riddance, and MXPX or Lars Fredrikson and the Bastards and Dropkick Murphy's.

Favorite bands live are Green Day(seen 3 times), Bad Religion, Millincolin, Lagwagon, Blink 182 (before they had a teeny boper following) Allister, and the Methadones.

    97?? Dude...how old are you....
    I know ops:

My mom never let me go to concerts in school because she thought I would 'do the pot'. I had tickets to see Page and Plant in 95, but had to sell them becuase she bitched out on me. Even though I did get to see them in 98, I've never forgiven her for that to this day. I've probably been to about 20 shows since then.

But in Guitar Wolf-speak, it should be "Lock an Loll"

They're a great, rawkus live band. I bought a shirt at that show but it shrank the first time I washed it...now it shows mid-riff!

OK. Since Guitar Wolf was mentioned on this thread I figured I'd mention this here.

On the morning of March 31st, Hideaki Sekiguchi, AKA Billy, bassist for Guitar Wolf, died of a heart attack at age 38.
It's really such a shame, he was far too young to go.

I saw Lucky Dube and Jimmy Cliff live, but they were so low-key they don't count as concerts.

My first real concert was Soundgarden at Festival Hall in Melbourne, Australia. It was in 1997 I believe, just a wee bit before they broke up.

Ahh, Soundgarden; a great band, and my favourite band for a long, long time.

    Benesato.

Never been to a concert because of my sensitive ears.

My first concert was TOOL in '96. To this day, the best show I've ever seen (Even though Radiohead in '03 and Fantomas in '04 are close seconds).
