So, basically, these "where were you in xxxx" threads have proven that the average RJ user has basic, elementary school level math skills.

I was in 8th grade starting in August 1991. That was my first year going back to public school. Even though I had issues adjusting I was so glad to be a normal kid again.

I was a 5th grader rocking out to Kriss Kross and Another Bad Creation. lol Oh wait, Kriss Kross came out in 1992. Okay, grooving to Michael Jackson's Dangerous album. Playing Sonic the Hedgehog, waking up at like 5:00 in the morning to watch Saturday morning cartoons. lol

I was 8 years old that year, my sister turned 4, and one of my cousins was just born. It was also the year I got my cat Megan.

i still have to say i am blown away that a nostalgia site is dominated by teens and and early 20's. When i first came on to the site i expected mostly 30's and up. But virually everyone is much younger. I turned 26 in 1991. I am curious why so many young people have the nostalgia bug. You all have barely started living. I guess its just the era.

I was outside playing with my friends probably. Or I was playing with my Little People (the real ones, not the fat ones) and watching You Can't Do That On Television and Hi Honey, I'm Home with my sister...ooh I miss the early nineties...

What about those in their mid to late 20s? =P

That aside, "retro" is subjective. What one considers retro doesn't necessarily mean the same to another. I like talking about the stuff I grew up with, with others who did as well. Getting right down to it, I've had the nostalgia bug for many many years.
