Have you ever been hyped up to see a movie in the theatres and ended up disappointed? I have when I went to see the remake of The Ammityville remake. Tell us of your disappointing experience at the movies. Past or present.

I once went to see Oceans 11 with a friend, we were young and we thought it sucked ass about an hour into it, we left and got our money back.

I liked it except for the stupid CGI zombies.

Hence why it was disappointing. Some parts even made it seem like it was supposed to be a horror movie... the dog's death made my mom leave the theater crying.

No movies to speak of, but I would like to mention a TV show that failed me. I was hyped up for "I Love The 80s 3-D", even taking a week off from work so I could tape all the episodes that would air. As I watched the episodes, I thought "Wow, this sucks". There were so many subjects they could've talked about, but didn't, and it just seemed like they were running on fumes. I regret watching it, and I can only hope that if they do a 4th "I Love The 80s", that it will be better than "I Love The 80s 3-D".

my advice, there's a place online that has the movie online when it's in the movies. it's better to watch it there so you don't have to waste your money

Or you could just, you know, wait until it comes out on DVD and rent it. Downloading movies sucks because the quality is usually shit.

I rarely go see movies that I think will disappoint me. I only go see the ones that I'm super excited about.

I was bitterly disappointed with Ratatouille. I loved all of Pixar's previous movies, and was expecting to love it. Alas, I thought it sucked.

I don't go to theaters ever. I don't feel like spending $10.75 for a ticket.

The most fun of the 1998 Godzilla was the fight my then girlfriend and I got into in the theater. We had an argument about some bullshit thing, as they all turn out to be. It was us and maybe 5 other people in the theater, so we didn't care.
