What was your favorite type of toy growing up?

I had a definite soft spot for giant robots (still do) Of course Transformers and Voltron were my faves, but I also liked Robotech as well as a lot of stuff from Japan that didn't reach the US at the time like Gundam and other mecha anime from the 70s and 80s.

I used my brother's Teenage Mutant Ninja figurines from the 80s even though I was a 90s kid. (They were just too cool to ignore.)

I also liked this toy called... um... "Miss Party Surprise"... Or something. There would be this small doll, and she would have a giant plastic dress. You would open up her dress, and it would fold out into a giant setting with different accessories.

    And polly pockets were rad.

I loved Miss Party Surprise, too. She was really awesome.

I loved all sorts or teddy bears and stuffed animals as a kid. Cabbage Patch Kids, too.

Oooh, and play food. I had a giant box-full of plastic food, and stuff.
