I don't like it. For one most of those sex offenders didn't get charged because they are not police. Second they act like they are the law talking down on people when they are nothing but a TV show. Third they are making money doing it.

I hate to say this, but I tend to agree. You know, almost all the time these men are baited and they didn't have any *real* contact with a minor..

I think it's one of the funniest shows on tv. Chris Hanson is the man.

I only watch it because of the hilarity that ensues, but I guess it actually does do some good.

I like the show. The people the catch usually do get charged cause it's illegal to chat like that with a minor and go to their home even though it is a set up.
It's OK, next time I'll make you listen. I wish that it were in the power of all children to say that to their parents and to know that indeed they would be heard as we were in those wonderful days on Waltons Mountain.Narrator The Waltons (From the Runawa

It does veer a little too close to vigilante justice for my taste.

Besides, I just don't like watching people in uncomfortable situations, no matter how much they deserve it.

Wha? Ive watched that show since forever, they ALL get charged! With months (or years) in jail followed by probation.

Btw they ARE the law. "Perverted justice" contacts the police department every time they do one of their "stings", and once the man walks out of the house they get arrested by the police, have you even seen the show?

Yes, taking up that whole PD's time busting pedos that weren't in ANY contact with a child, wasting their time doing this instead of going after a serial killer(s), robbers, what have you.

You act like every cop in the world is there. Of course not. Its only a few cops. And they WOULD be in contact with a child if this wasn't a setup. I think that if it was your own kid you'd think differently, I cant believe you said busting pedo's is a waste of time, wow.

Yeah, it's great they are spending man power to catch predators. Do you really want your kids getting raped when you're out of town?

Come on realistically how many robberies get solved? Especially gast stations/ 7-11's whatever. They don't have CSI working on them. They just take notes and say they'll look then usually nothing happens. Fact. Unless you get a clear view of the person they basically can't do shit. Even if you do and they have no priors odds are you won't be catching them. It's a wild goose chase.

This on the other hand is a good use of time for SOME cops on the force the others are still on patrol, douche.

Consider that its just as you said, a "setup"

Consider that the "child" is at least 18

Excuse the double post, as I am on my iPod touch and it doesn't allow for copy and paste.

I never said it wasn't. I'm just saying that the pedos are NOT, at any time during the chris hansen show, in any contact with a child.

    Fucking douche.
