The tv version of The Breakfast Club changes "eat my shorts" to "eat my socks", which I find equally offensive.

    From Scarface:

    Original Line:

"This town is like a great big pussy just waiting to get fucked."--Tony Montana

    Edited for TV Line:

"This town is like a great big chicken just waiting to get plucked."

This one cracks me up every time.

Ha ha I have seen that before, where he yells sandwich. That is great.

In Die Hard isn't the re-dub of Yippey Kiyea Mother Fucker something like Yippey Kiyea Melon Farmer? Take that Han's you melon farmer!

Die Hard 2: "Yippie Ki Yay, Mister Falcon!" (Guy sounds nothing like Bruce Willis...)

Die Hard With a Vengeance: "Yippie Ki Yay, MYYYY FRIIIIEEEEND" (two syllables stretched out to fill out four, of course)

Don't remember what it was for the first one.

I mean, "Mickey Fickey"? "Fairy Godmother"? What the hell?

I loved that "sandwich" bit. Showgirls have some really funny re-dubs:

After Cristal says that there's more going on at the Cheetah than dancing, in a totally fake, un-Elizabeth Berkeley like voice, "You don't know SQUAT!"

    Also:
-"I liked it when you came." ("I like your little game.")
-"Dancing ain't fucking, right?" ("Dancing ain't faking, right?")
-"Yeah, get me a beer, bitch!" ("Yeah, get me a beer, miss!")

On the edited ver. of Soul Food, the whole scene between Bird and Lem fighting is re-dubbed and The Breakfast Club has some pretty funny redubs, like a-hole (replaced with airhead(?)) the whole "What did you do? Forget to wash your jock?" (replaced with "socks". Huh?) And the whole, "Nice going, jerk-off!" and "Fuck you!" (replaced with "jag-off" and "flip" )
Garfield: "My car is so old, that it's insured against theft, flood, fire and dinosaur stampedes!"

Garfield: "The local bus transit is doing their part to help with the weight loss program: each year, they stop further and further away from the curb!

In the original "Beverly Hills Cop", Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) says "Fuck you" to Taggart (John Ashton) after being called foul-mouthed. In a Comedy Central print I saw, Foley called Taggart "Pig Face". Interesting.

Gary Oldman's character says "Mickey Mouse Bullsquash" instead of "Motherfucking Bullshit."

The other was a film with Samuel L Jackson -- I don't remnember which one -- where motherfucker was changed to melonfarmer.

WOW there is so many to name. What sucks is once these start being show on TV it's hard to find them on the pay TV channels, when I do I love comparing the differences. Still waiting to see caddyshack uncut again, talk about a butchered movie. Another old one one that's unwatchable on regular TV is Bachelor Party. Part of the problem with those is the edits were done in the 80s and no one ever went back and reedited them.

Val - Good morning, Mr. Bassett. This is your wakeup call. Please move your ass.

The edited line changed Butt for ass. The reason that it was funny was that the guy that they got to dub the line doesn't sound anything like Kevin Bacon.
