I was just curious to see if anyone ever got sick after eating food at any place. I got sick after eating at Dairy Queen and when my family went to Las Vegas one summer I got a stomach ache after we had supper at some restaurant and it was awful. I also got diarrhea after eating at Extreme Pita one time. So have you ever eaten somewhere before and the food made you sick?

Welllllllll, one night after eating a Mcdonalds salad I took a nap, and then awoke in extreme pain, I was curled in a ball, it felt like all my organs and stomach were tensed up and on fire and I couldn't move, it was hard to breathe, it was the most extreme pain in my whole life, I thought I was dying...I threw up from how much pain I was in. I managed to drag myself into the hallway and call out to my mom. She suspected it was food poisoning. This happened for more than 7 months, where id have these random attacks....even during school. I went from being 137lbs to being 110lbs just because I was afraid to eat, I was afraid to sleep, I was afraid of doing anything.

I went to the emergency room a bunch of times and they had no friggin idea what was wrong with me. Until I visited my Fiance' in Florida, on the day I was suppose to leave to go home I had another attack and I was taken to the hospital. Where they discovered my gallbladder was impacted with gallstones. My mom then flew to Florida the next day so she could be there for my surgery. I was so insanely happy to find out I needed surgery, it was my first surgery ever. To this day ive never had another attack I read that gallbladder attacks are caused by eating foods high in fat....and to think I ate a Mcdonalds salad, HA! Well either way I have no idea how I ever got gallstones, but I do NOT eat fast food anymore. And oddly I haven't gained any of the weight back. Maybe its because im eating better.

    Theres my little story.

I get a stomache ache everytime I eat at McDonald's. I think it's the grease they use because I can eat at any other place and I'm fine.

Gloria Jean's also give me diarrhea, but it's so good, I can deal with it.

Yeah id recommend for you guys to stop eating fast food. I was just a normal teenager who ate normal things and had no medical problems. I had no idea I had gallstones until that one night. It was horrible and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

But what I experienced was far worse than just feeling "sick".

    Never gotten sick at McDonald's.

However, there is this chain of seafood restaurants that are only here in the Greensboro area called "Libby Hill". They used to be pretty good, but recently they've gotten kind of nasty.

A couple of years ago, I ate some shrimp there at Libby Hill and later that afternoon, I got real nauseous. Fortunately, I never threw up, but after that, I decided to never eat there again.

I got sick after eating at Olive Garden once. I kept going through the meal, thinking something tasted off, but I thought it was the sauce or something. Ended up getting food poisoning for a few days.

That and I can't eat certain foods anymore. Really fatty and greasy foods, along with anything with bell peppers, jalapenos, and the sort tend to make me really sick. not allergies...just something thats happened after my gallbladder was removed.

This isn't really retro since it happened just a few years ago, but it is so worth sharing.

This may be disgusting to you, so please don't read it if you don't want to be grossed out.

It was December 16th, two thousand something and we were at a seafood restaurant a few hours away from our house. When I ate the food, I got a bad stomach virus later. It was so bad that we had to stop at a McDonald's for me to use the bathroom. In this McMen's room, the locks were broken off all the doors. While I was emptying my fluent ass load, these two rednecks walked into the bathroom. "Woo wee, it shar eeys stanky een heyer," the first one stated,"Well, it shar don't smell like parfume, that's fer sher," replied the second redneck. I could do nothing but hope that they would have the intelligence to know that the "stank" was coming from a person that was in the stall. But, they didn't and one of the rednecks opened the door on me. Luckily, my pants were pulled all the way up so he didn't see anything.

Same here! I cant eat really fatty of greasy foods either. I was eating at Denny's during Christmas, and I had a cheeseburger, and after I ate it it felt like I was almost going to have a gallbladder attack..but hows that possible when its removed? The feeling went away after a while. It was scary.

I have never been one to throw up alot. I hardly ever get throw up sick, normaly just colds. My stomach is normaly an iron tank. (LOL) so I was totally knocked out when I was eating at 99 restaraunt and enjoying their boneless bbq wings which were my favorites at the time. I was fine while I was eating them but my stomach was starting to hurt pretty bad after walking around Barnes and Noble afterwards. So we went home and nothing happened until much later in the wee hours of the morning. Turns out I had caught for the first time in my life a really bad flu that was going around. I threw up more than I had ever in my entire life. I haven't been able to eat those wings since, even though they really probably didn't have anything to do with it.

Yes I'v gotten sick a few time and remember every incedent. I will name the times that i know it was from eating out.

When I was in the first grade I got food poisoning off of Heartz chicken. I threw up several times that morning.

I got sick from some veggies at school in the repeat of fourth grade. My stomach was upset after I ate it and finally threw it up around 6 pm that evening. It came out suddenly and got all over my blanket while I was laying on the couch. Yuck!

The last time I acually threw up was from Subway back on Sunday 02/2/1992 (groundhog day). Before I went to sleep I burped and it tasted a little like rotten eggs. I woke up around 6 am and was very nauseated. My dad was up and gave me some baking soda in a glass with some water. I burped and it was that rotten egg taste very strong. I knew then that I had food poinsoning because I had it before and went into the bathroom to get it out of me. It had been 4 years since I threw up last so it was a big deal. I haven't eaten Subway since. Man I hate those rotten egg burps because you can have them all day.

I got e coli from eating a Quarter Pounder at MC-D's about 8 year ago. I wont go into the details, but their were lots of cramps and you know what.

It seems like a lot of people here try to avoid throwing up, why is that?

Because is get up your noise and when you try and get it out the taste makes you want to do it again. Also throwing up isn't so bad, it not knowing when and if it's comming. I think so people throwup when they don't really need to and as a result the do it several times a year.
