A lot...and some I don't even remember I think where Tom is a "baby toy" to this little girl, and his friends make fun of him for it.

Watch out SlapStick77. Tom and Jerry go all the way back to 1940. So when I think about Tom and Jerry I think decades, 40's 50's 60's 70's 80's 90's and new millennium.

My favorite is from the 1940's where a dignified Tom suited up in a tuxedo is ready to play a piano concert. Watching Tom's performance ruined by Jerry makes this episode clever and funny. Love the ending when Jerry puts on a tux and takes a bow to the audience applause.

Wow! Do you remember the episode where Spike has just finished with junior's bath when Tom chasing Jerry runs by and splashes mud on the little pup?

Old Spike grabs Tom and says "my boy is all nice and clean, and he'd better stay that way - understand?"

And little Jerry mouse laughs knowing that he can dirty up the pup and old Tom will catch hell for the rest of the day. You know what's going to happen and you can't wait to see it!

I love the one cartoon where Jerry's cousin comes to visit and hes a country singer and he keeps breaking the strings on his guitar so the country singer cousin keeps plucking one of Tom's whiskers to use as a guitar string.

What is funny that every time he plucks a whisker he sings some gibberish country song. If anyone knows the name of that particular tom and jerry cartoon please tell me.

And the cool part at the end when Jerry's cousin is on tv strumming and singing when he breaks another guitar string. Old Tom busts out laughing then Jerry's cousin reaches through the tv screen, plucks out Tom's last wisker and continues singing. Now Jerry laughs himself silly while Tom looks at the audience with a WTF expression on his face! Great cartoon fun!

I liked that one too. I liked most of them in the 40s and 50s. The ones in the 60s (Chuck Jones) gave me bad vibes and the ones in 70s by HB were lame. They also had the Tom and Jerry comedy show in the early 80s by Filmation and those gave me bad vibs too. One thing I hated was how they played the same music in every episode and the low budget film they used.

i cant remember if i had a favorite or not...but i remember this one scene in one of those episodes that were made in a later year when the animation was wackier than usual...it was that scene where jerry bangs a rock on that guy's caribbean drum and the guy blaims tom for it because he thought he kicked it.

I agree!. The Tom and Jerry of the 40's and 50's were classic. That was before Hanna/Barbera left and a lot more money was spent on the animation. The 60's were terrible. The stories sucked (unfunny) and the animation was much worse.

I liked "The Zoot Cat" in which Tom dresses up in a zoot suit in order to woo a girl! Tom's voice is so funny in this one!

Wow. That must be one of the most unusual T&J ever. Giving Tom a "voice" makes that cartoon rare. I saw this as a kid but it did not make the schedule when CBS ran T&J on Saturday mornings during the 1960's.
Thank God someone else here knows what a zoot suit is.

I like how Tom tries to clean him with the hose but Jerry disconnects it from the water spigot and connects it to a barrel of tar. At the end of the episode he puts Tyke in the washing machine which is Front-Loading but has an agitator. Spike sees him and puts the boox of detergent on Tom's head, sticks a bar of soap in his mouth and puts him in the washer. Then Spike, Tyke and Jerry watch as Tom gets sprayed with water and thrown against the indide of the machine by the agitator.

LOL Yes, that was the washer from hell! And talk about timing, I couldn't remember how this episode ends. Thanks funguy10! I actually remember being scared of my mom's old Maytag washer after seeing what happened to Tom.

Oh damn, that's a hard one. I definitely also like "The Zoot Cat", although it was pretty weird to hear Tom say anything beyond a scream or a meow. And I also liked "Flirty Birdy".

And I loved "Million Dollar Cat". The ending always makes me lose my shit....Tom: "Gee, I'm throwin' away a million dollars --- but I'm happy!!"

I like when Tom said as Jerry was lighting his foot on fire "I love you. You set my soul on fire. It is not just a little spark. It is a flame. A big roaring flame. I can fell it now. Burning. Burning." Then he smells his foot burning and says "Say, something is burning around here!" Then he sees his foot on fire.
