    Somebody gave me this recipe and told me everyone likes it, and it is true so far..

    Mix: I small bottle of Russian dressing(HAS to be the clear, red kind and NOT the creamy)
    1 package of onion soup mix
    I small jar of apricot preserves

    Take chicken parts(best with bone -in) and salt , pepper, and whatever else you like

    Put chicken in a baking pan, add a little water on the bottom, add the sauce above and cook in your oven...if you cut up small red pototoes and cook them with the chicken you might love it

    keep basting all of it

    really, this usually turns out great ..and easy

    Yes, I thought it sounded gross, too....but make sure to use hte clear-type dressing and it WILL be good...

    Okay.....as for "high"...the higher, the better..(but anyone will enjoy this)
    as for "fat"....it depends on how much you decide to make to keep people, including yourself, happy.....Sorry, thought this was obvious..

    You didn't say what the temperature the oven should be, or how long to cook. You need to specify that with poultry, you can get somebody sick or killed otherwise. A final internal temperature should be given as well. And this is also very important if the potatoes are added, the bacteria could seep in there as well.

    Thanks for clearing that up, but you see some foods require you being more fat in order to enjoy them. Pork rinds, for instance. Or marshmallow fluff.

    oR geT smebody sick, this was obvious...
    I also just wanted to share an easy, usually well-accepted thing for people who don't know how to cook....when I was young my frind's father made this, and it always turned out great. and as for you< HoWdy> my family/friends/ME are in amazing shape and great health.....maybe this is the secret !

    if you tried it, you might not think so...I'm not talking about the creamy dressing...only use the clear, red one. It is basically like some chinese food spin-off....very unoffensive...and even the most fussy people like it.
