Commercials actually made sense and didn't have cheesy/nonsensical advertisement before deep into the new millennium ops:

I remember one commercial in particular...
    Pepto Bismol:
(back in the day): A person was shown having indigestion for whatever reason. Then, the effects of the pink stuff were shown in a diagram or whatever type of presentation. The last scene showed that same person relieved and continuing the day.

(NOW): People dance around because they have diarrhea and want the pink stuff and sing a horrible song to match with it.......

    Sad.

What commercials do you remember and what is the commercial like now?...or what horrible or good commercials have you seen in the new millennium?

I hate that Cheerios commercial with the young couple where the guys says " Cheerios, try'n to lose weight?" She says "do I look like I need to lose weight?"
I'm thinkin "Hell Yes Lard Lady!" and "have Cheerios for lunch and dinner too!"
The Eldorado is dead. Long live the Eldorado.

    lol @ the last comment.

Anther commercial I remember is for Pine Sol.

(back then): the Pine Sol lady saw someone cleaning with some bad cleaning product. She tells them about Pine Sol, a demonstration is made in various cleaning areas, and she always stated that you get a leftover Pine smell too or something like that.

(Now): Cheesy affects, know little about about what pine sol does...annoyed that you've wasted your time watching a stupid commercial about a great product (i'm not gonna go into detail as I just say the damn commercial ).

I hate that commercial too. Freakin' lady actin' like a bitch.

Anyway, I kinda liked the original Pepto "Nausea, Heartburn, Indigestion, Upset Stomach, Diarrhea." song not the remixes and those retards they put singing.

The commercials back then were really good. Now these days most commercials I see are trying to be funny in a weird way. They try to style the commercials after Napoleon Dynamite. I liked the movie but not the stupid commercials.

i guess people are just tired of those commercials. i mean most people who've seen the commercials want something new and the producers know that.

To tell the truth I don't pay much attention to them any more. Most of the time I watch a commercial and when it's over I can't even remember what they were trying to sell me, usually because the message was so diluted. The other times it's usually so stupid that I actually refuse to buy the product on account of the dumbass commercial.
