I watched pretty much all the anime stuff on Toonami when I was in middle school; Outlaw Star, Ronin Warriors, Tenchi Muyo, and that lot. Before that, I was lucky enough to see the uncut dub of Gundam Wing (it came on at nine instead of midnight in my area, lol). Before THAT, I watched the dubs of Pokemon and Sailor Moon on UPN. And throughout all this time, there was Dragonball Z. I loved that show.

You young'uns and your DBZ, Naruto, etc...

Back in the day, it was all about Star Blazers, Robotech and Akira for me!

More recently, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex....and Robotech all over again on DVD, 'cause I just can't get enough of it.

Cowboy Bebop. If Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez teamed up to do a sci-fi anime, this is what it would look like. Evangelion was absolutely amazing too.

But my first favorite, though, which hooked me to the medium, was Ranma 1/2.

DragonBall Z was my first anime, that I can remember. My brother and I never missed an episode. I still enjoy it, lol. I also got into other animes', but DBZ was always my top.

Sadly life came in so I don't have as much time for much anime and whatnot.

    Hey Wizard241...That one's from Death notes...its brilliant

It's from the very last scene of the second live action Death Note movie "Death Note the Last Name".

I made a bunch of screen caps from both movies and so I was able to make my animated GIF image.

Dragon Ball. Flat-out fell in love with this cartoon.
Goku and Bulma journey off together in search of the mystical dragonballs.
Creative storytelling . . . fun television. Dosen't get any better!

ok, my favorites as a kid were:

    Superchampions (a soccer anime)
    Zodiac Knights

I don't know if the translations are correct because I used to watch them in spanish, but those were my favorites.
Does anyone else know about them?

I used to liked Dragonball Z (Who didn't liked DBZ as a kid?), Sailor Moon, and the Macross series as a kid. My favorite anime title of now is Doraemon of course, seeing that there is less obsessive-aggressive fans
