Dude oh my God have you played the Arcade version of Altered Beast, FRIGGIN BEAUTIFUL

I had that game, one of my first games, on (okay let me see a show of hands if you hear me on this one) the Amiga computer, which was out at about the same time NES was. For anyone who considers himself a true retro gamer I highly recommend that you add an Amiga to your arsenal of retro gaming gear. Along with that I highly recommend the following games: Hybris (probably the greatest vertical scrolling space shooter of all time), Altered Beast, Blood Money, Battle Chess, Silk Wurm (Wyrm?), and absolutely get Shadow of the Beast, but definately get a walk-through to read as you go along with that game cuz most people quit before they reach the end. Don't get discouraged.

That sums it up for my arsenal of favorites on the Amiga computer. There's tons more games too like TMNT, Double Dragon, LOTS of RPGs and quest games, think as many games as NES and Genesis has put together.

Anyway, nice bro, Altered Beast rules, I got mad memories of that game both on Amiga and Genesis it was always one of my favorite games and to this day is one of my favorite retro hits.

I found my old Tazo/Pog collection in the shed.

So, I stuck all my tazos/pogs on my door with bluetack.

This week: a copy of "Altered Beast" on the Sega Genesis.

I have that game!! It was the first game ever released on the Sega Genesis back in 1989. Kinda neat.

I'll say it is; the game have really good sound bytes like "World Of Illusion".

Raiders and Last Crusade but no Temple of Doom? What's the matter, you don't like Short Round? I always liked Raiders and Temple of Doom more than Last Crusade. I'm looking forward to seeing Kingdom of the Crystal Skull when it comes out.

I love the Temple of Doom, my favorite I.J. movie. I also look forward to the up coming I.J. movie. I'm sure it'll be nothing short of bad ass. I just hope they give it a more rustic atmosphere than they gave Tomb Raider.

how was the second Tomb Raider btw?

With the nice weather here in the trailer park, I've taken the cue from the other residents and cut the bottom half off of all of my shirts. Just like they did in the eighties.

Temple of Doom was good, but I had just seen it on TV, whereas I hadn't seen either Raiders or The Last Crusade in over ten years. I'll probably pick it up on DVD soon.

I actually liked Short Round. Couldn't stand Willie, though.

anyway... my buddy yesterday was bragging about how he has the new speed racer movie on his whatchamacallit PDA thingy

I bragged back by showing him one of the original speed racer VHS tapes I got still in its original shrink wrap
