Now we've already had the how did you discover RJ tread. But this is a differnt one. I'm here to ask you all what about this site drew your attention into it? Me personally it was the nostalgia on this website. I discovered this site back in November 2005(I was 14 than). It had a lot of old nick clips from the 90s so I decided to look back at my generation. It also had some CN clips from my youth. I also liked viewing the old stuff from the 70s and 80s to see what life looked like before I got here. Than when December 2005 hit I joined here and decided to start posting treads. At the time I posted a lot since I was new and wanted to feel my way in. I still hang here today but haven't in a while since I had a lot going on. So in truth the fact that this site has old cn/nick fans, good people to get along with and people within my age group with similar interests/feelings as me is what's been drawing me in since I came here.

Seeing all of those freaking commercials that I've loved and loathed in the past.

The commercials were what got my attention. When I wrote a review for this site in my school's newspaper I mentioned what a great feature they were on the site.

First it was the commercials, then the forums and articles. After looking at that stuff for awhile I decided to join up.

The thing that drove me here was a friend of mine who played some the intros of tv shows constantly to annoy me (Zoobilee Zoo). He encouraged me to join in November 2007, but with all the trolls that were joining that day I didn't start posting until January 2008.
All the cool people are the reason I keep coming back. Oh, and I kinda copy his stuff sometimes.

I came here for the wonderful things in my childhood and things I missed out on.

I first found it when I read a wikipedia article on Burger King's mascot so called the King. I never knew he was first in the older kids meal commercials during the 70s through mid 80s. In fact there was a link to one of those commercials posted on the wikipedia article, but I guess they removed it because the several editors of the site considered it spam. And that is how I first came here.

And it was somewhere in 2006.

It was the videos. The commercials and whatnot.

I think I also came here in '06. Or maybe it was '05. I'd have to check.

Edit: Huh, I guess it doesn't show that info in your profile anymore...?

I first came here in 2005 when someone showed me a commercial of the Atari 2600 version of Mario Bros. I didn't have the time to join Retro Junk until February 6th, 2008, now I'm glad to be a part of this community.

Summer 2005, I was looking up lyrics to intros to my fav retro cartoons and found the soundclips, which are now video intros. I I looked up more shows and commercials and went through the whole archive at that point. I didn't notice the forums for a few more months. I noticed a recent topic on the front page... I think it was about being emo. LOL. And I started reading the rest of the topics and couldn't resist joining the party.
