Thread: Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers vs Talespin

What about the other 2 Disney Afternoon heavyweights after Ducktales, Darkwing Duck, and Gummi Bears? I bought both cartoons off ebay and I gotta say after finishing them, they are both as great as I remembered.

So which one do you like better? I'd go with the Rescue Rangers becuase every episode kept me guessing what clever way those rodents would get out of jams. Dale was such a great comic relief character and you feel sorry for him at times becuase he doesnt really have a talent. But he really makes the show interesting.

On the other hand you have another great cartoon like Talespin where Baloo and Kit go through adventures in an airplane delivery service, fighting money problems and pirates on the way. Wildcat is my favorite character cus he's a doofus, and yet a great mechanic.

Tough choice, but my vote goes to Ch Ch Ch Chip and Dale.

both are equally good shows in my book but if i had to make a definite choice i would choose............. dang this is really close but its rescue rangers for me there were just more episdoes that i really liked from rescue rangers than from tailspin and the songs, characters both good and bad and other random stuff from rescue rangers i liked alot more

Going back to that particular time-period, and basing my choice solely on then and not now, my vote would go to Chip & Dale's Rescue Rangers. I was a fanatic of it. For my fourth grade class, I got Chip & Dale Rescue Ranger Valentine's to give out.

I would make sure I'd watch Chip & Dale every afternoon. Now, for Tailspin, I wasn't into it much, and never watched it (regularly) when it was part of the original Disney Afternoon lineup. I didn't watch that til Disney Channel started showing it in about 1993, and that's when I started to like it. ^_^

You'd be surprised at what people would fall in love with in those days (Riff raff's Girlfriend from Heathcliff anyone?), and now actually

Anyway I hate trying to compare these two great shows but I'm gonna go with Chip 'n Dale. I guess I liked the cartoon better over all. I actually liked the video game, it was really hard.

The video game was great when played with a mate coz you could pick your mate up and lob him at a bad guyor into a pit if he was getting more flower pick up's than you.

Hmm...interesting dilemma. It's a draw to me, being I thought Chip n' Dale that the gang were the funniest guys ever, and being I was and still am obsessed with flying, the flying aspect of Tailspin, mainly the air chases and the like, put the show up there as well.

    I miss the old days

Hey Panthro's son, how is it that you have such a big avatar when it says the maximum is 80x80 pixels? I see a lot of people with them too and I'm wondering how that's possible. We're both newbies so it cant be the more posts the bigger avatar you can have. Does anyone know why that is?
