we got the internet in 2000. late I know, but my family is poor and proud of it!
I also started using it in 2000. I was in high school. But we've had a home computer since 1990. Which is even more sad because it means we probably could have afforded it but still didn't use it.
well, the internet didn't really become big until hit jr. high, so i guess i started when i was 12 or 13 at home. At school we used the old macs to play Oregon Trail and Reader Rabbit

when iwas a junior in high school (1981-82), i remember them installing a computer lab. I never did take the course. At that time most people were still taking typing class. It was a few years later after i joined the military that used my first computer.
I had my first computer in 1996 then I didn't get the internet until 1999 that's when I learned this in school and got my second computer in 2000 it was a gateway and after that died. I got my current computer an apple g5 in 05.

Haha yes! My schools kept up pretty well with computers. My first internet class was in middle school. We had to use Netscape and that webpage building software. Actually, I thought there was something we used before Netscape, but I can't remember what it was.
