Why are so many people scared of them? They don't even look scary. When I moved in this house with my fiance and his family, they get the occasional cockroach and everyone freaks out. I just get a cup and tap the cockroaches back to it goes into the cup. If it were gross and scary lookin I wouldn't do that.

Maybe its because I never grew up with cockroaches or saw them before.

I hate balloons, not the mylar kind, the regular ones. The possibility of popping, really any kind of sudden loud noise scares the living shit out of me.

I also do not drive unless absolutely necessary. I cannot stand it, though I don't know if I'd call it a phobia. My husband, luckily, likes to drive.

I also am scared of geese. Those aren't birds. Those are winged demons sent by Satan.

Yeah, I know what you mean because while my fear of driving IS a phobia, I am SCARED of other things like snakes and geckos(only when they are in the house) and centipedes but those are different because they are just things I don't like and creep me out.. where as the driving one for me is an actual panick attack phobia LOL

I also have a bit of a fear of other people vomiting. I don't have a phobia of it, as I know some people do and I forget what it's called, but I deffinatly sometimes am leery on an airplane that someone near me will get sick and I don't like to hang out near people who get drunk in fear of them vomiting near me. And I HATE movies with mass vomitting scenes in them. I can deal with my son throwing up, as I have no choice LOL but adults and other people, skeeves me out.

I have the fear of other people vomiting too.
Thats one of the reasons I use hate working at McDonald's when I did.
Damn parents would bring their kids when they were sick, feed them the damn Happy Meal & then OH "I'm sorry but will you clean, I'm sorry my kid, can you....How about I'm sorry you're a lazy ass parent who don't realize your fucking child is sick! *bats eyes sarcastically*
My brother has stomach problems, but shoves his mouth when my parent aren't looking & then throws up from it. He gets bitched out from my parents & me, cause he does it on purpose & knows hes going to get in trouble.grr....
I hate when people puke on purpose.
Or those vomiting scenes in movies.

I forgot my fear of holes. Anything you can fall into or have to retrieve something from. I can't walk over grates on city sidewalks. This extends into fear of deep bodies of water. I'm an excellent swimmer, but some experiences in lakes have made me scared of aquatic life. Oh, because of this, I also can't stand in the dark rollercoasters. I panic and can't go on Space Mountain. I had a bad experience on a dark log floom ride. It flooded while were on it and we had to be rescued because you can't stop a water ride.

because they're freaking disgusting and make scary noises and crunch when you step on them.

I'm not really sure why I get kind of skeeved by vomit. I mean It's a normal body function reaction..I guess it's just the smell, the sound, the way it looks. I think movies like The Sandlot, Stand By Me and Problem Child 2 had something to do with it lol. I think those movies sparked vomit fear in those who are now afraid of vomit.

My husband hates cockroaches. He says that if I kill cockroaches and get rid of them he will take care of any snake, gecko, centipede, whatever that gets in the house. Um, hopefully NO snake ever gets iN THIS house.

Heights, but more specifically, being on the edge while high up. I enjoy the view from aircraft though.

This video made me cringe the whole way through, but it is amazing.

Driving. I know it sounds completly stupid, but I am terrified of driving. I don't even have my license. Driving is such a huge responsibility too so it's like if your going to have a panick attack in a car on the road, I don't think that is safe to the other drivers. It's a really hard thing to be afraid of because it can really hold you back in life. I literally have panick attacks when I get behind the wheel and feel like I am going to black out. It's funny, none of it started until AFTER Driver's Ed and AFTER I got my permit. I dunno if it was the scenes of death crashes videos we saw in drivers ed or what. Now at age 27 I don't know if I will ever get it.

i thought i was the only one im almost 18 and havent got a license because im afraid ill probably run over someone or crash..
im also scared of cockroaches, heights and small spaces (clostrophobia)
